Love is Blind has revealed their season 4 cast and premiere date. This year the hopefuls are aged 25-37 and some are coming in hot.
Love Is Blind Premiere Is March 24
The popular dating show is already in its fourth season. Netflix shared who the new contestants are and that it is filming in Seattle to give those locals a chance at finding blind love. Two weeks ago, host Nick and Vanessa Lachey shared that filming for both seasons 4 and 5 are completed.
The first five episodes of season 4 will drop on the 24th and from there on out as usual, they will drop weekly. "We've filmed five seasons," said Nick to Women’s Health magazine.
"Every single one has been so different from the others, so that's what makes it interesting, what makes it intriguing for us allows us to approach every single season with a fresh attitude and fresh perspective."
'Love Is Blind' Casting Looking For ‘Open-Minded People
The show’s casting call went out a while ago but it claims they are looking for "single men and women who are brave, open-minded, and ready for a committed relationship." They also mentioned they were casting people from Charlotte, DC, Tampa, and Detroit.
Those who were casted shared that the show had a “rigorous” set of steps to make sure they are casting the right people. Nancy Rodriguez from season three shared that the questionnaire alone is so valuable to her.
"Had I not even been casted at the end, just going through those questionnaires and interviews was really powerful for me because it helped me to better understand why I was doing this."
Fan favorite Deepti Vempati thinks it’s what makes the show so unique. "It seemed like legitimate relationship questions," she told Buzzfeed last year. "It's not a random dating show, where you're trying to go and hook up with people. It seemed more serious. Obviously, it's marriage!"
'Love Is Blind' Cast Has Mixed Personalities
The contestants are given the opportunity to share a little something about themselves that was featured in their questionnaire, and we have some pretty odd descriptions. For example, April, 29 admits she is single because she’s “bratty and emotional”.
Or Bill, 33 who ditched his partner because she wouldn’t floss. Brett, 36 says he is attracted to “independence” is he trying to say that he doesn’t like spending a lot of time with his partners?
Conner, 28 has a problem with falling “hard and fast” the pods could go both ways for him he could fall in love fast with a personality as well. Irina, 26 said her only advice to her future someone is “buckle up”. That sounds terrifying.
Fans of the popular Netflix dating show have run into a few spunky characters along the way including Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee who came off a little silly and wild and while people initially liked him, he kind of screwed over Deepti and that didn’t sit well with most people.
"We wish you didn't pick that 🤡 [clown] but despite his childishness, you carried yourself with grace and continued to see the good in people. We're so damn proud to call you our baby sister, and know we're there for you always," wrote one of Deepti’s family members online.
The drama might not get that deep this season but never say never after everything we’ve seen from this show.
