Rapper Future rocked a pair of Birkenstock shoes worth $48,000 despite him still battling his baby mama Eliza Reign in court over child support.
The 37-year-old rapper posted a series of photos of him wearing the expensive pair of kicks. He wore a floor-length grey fur coat with a tracksuit underneath. Future, who was clearly paid to promote the shoes, captioned the post, "If u see me fighting a crocodile help the crocodile."
Fans had a variety of reactions to the red leather kicks that showed off his white socks.
Future's girlfriend Dess Dior was quick to show the post love with a double tap. One fan wrote, "bro you look like a whole beast."
Another remarked, "I'm so glad fashion continues to extend. Black people make everything FLY."
"This is why I love you," said one female admirer. One wannabe comedian wrote, "He got the Birkin Messiahs on" with the laughing emoji. A bunch of fans praised Future for the look saying it was fire and felt it was "too much drip" for one man.
In other news, Future is still dealing with a nasty paternity battle with a Florida-woman named Eliza Reign.
Back in 2018, Eliza sued the rapper accusing him of being the father to her 1-year-old daughter Reign. She said he promised to support the kid but then cut off contact with her. In court documents, Eliza asked the court to award her $53,000 a month in child support.
After dragging his feet for months, Future finally took a DNA test which showed he was the biological father to the baby girl. He offered to pay $1,00 a month in support. Eliza rejected the offer.
A judge recommended he pay $3,200 a month. The two are still fighting in court over the amount.

One person unconcerned with Future's $48,000 pair of shoes is his ex-girlfriend Lori Harvey. Over the weekend, Lori spent a little time with her new boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan.
Lori watched the Super Bowl with the "Black Panther" actor. During the commercial break, they watched Michael's epic ad for Alexa. The spot was listed by many as one of the best spots during the game.
Steve Harvey's daughter shared a video of Michael watching it live captioned, "Congratulations on your Super Bowl Commercial Baby" with a heart-eye emoji.
