Parenting is a different ball game; you'll become responsible for another life and so far, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik seem to be doing just fine.
It is very exciting for fans to see their favorite celebrities become parents. When people start having kids, they have to become more conscious of their actions, and more responsible.
When celebrities start having kids, they try to keep the baby's privacy intact, by not revealing too much information about him or her, until they're absolutely sure they're old enough to handle the attention.
Gigi And Zayn's Relationship
Hadid and Malik have been seeing each other for some time now, their relationship was somewhat complicated, with them going on and off all the time.
They started dating in November 2015, and attended several events together. They looked so good together that fans went psycho when they announced that they were expecting a baby. They later had their bundle of joy, in September 2020.
The new parents expressed their happiness, with sweet messages on their Twitter accounts, and millions of fans weighed in on it.
Little Baby 'Zigi'
When fans found out Hadid's baby's name, they were conflicted, but that confusion was cleared in a post.
The couple named their baby girl Khai, which is translated in Arabic as 'crowned,' and Malik is also translated as 'king.'
This makes the baby's name fully translated to mean "Crowned King," which is a very unique name. Malik hails from a British and Pakistani origin while Hadid's father Mohamed Hadid came from a Palestinian origin.
Hadid has shared several photos of herself and Khai hugging or cuddling, excluding her baby's face every time.
Will Khai Practice Islam?
Both Hadid and Malik have Islam roots and they plan on giving their daughter a choice of religion.
During an interview with Vogue,Hadid said;
"I felt like I was allowed to learn about every religion when I was a kid. I think it's good to take different pieces of different religions that you connect with, and I think that's how we'll do that."
She also opened up about how her and her brother Anwar Hadid suffered Islamophobia, and how she wants her Khai to handle it differently. Although the new parents come from Muslim families, Hadid's mother is a Christian.
Are They Getting Married?
After having their first child Khai, fans are beginning to wonder if the beautiful couple would get married soon, or they want their child to be a part of it.
It seems that the "Pillow Talk" singer has marriage on his mind, as he recently released a song titled "When Love's Around," from his latest album "Nobody Is Listening."
The tracks lyrics reads "but I need you in my life, yeah, you could be my wifе for real only takes a woman to show what it means to lovе."
Fans are certain this excerpt is directed at Hadid, or it may just be random lyrics, who knows.
