Kristin Cavallari Talks 'Heartless' Dumping Of A Guy Through Text

American fashion designer and television personality Kristin Cavallari divulged that she recently ended a budding romance via text.

After divorcing her ex-husband Jay Cutler in 2020, Cavallari revealed that she has received romantic advances, particularly from married men, but she is not looking for anything "serious."

The "Very Cavallari" star, who declared that she is done dating athletes and would not be considering having another child, referred to herself as "f**king heartless" as she recounts the event of her mobile breakup.

Cavallari, 36, recently admitted she's had to end a budding relationship over text on several occasions.

According to Page Six, the "Laguna Beach" alum confessed to sending several "f**ked up" breakup notes to her "Back To The Beach" podcast co-host, Stephen Colletti.

Colletti continued by asking how her most recent text breakup went, to which she replied, "Not great," before going on to say that she only employs the "horrible" strategies after several dates and after concluding that the relationship was doomed.

"I got multiple voice notes back. I was like, 'Sh*t. I should probably send you a voice note, but I don't even want to,'" she narrated.

Cavallari said that the guy in question put up a "Never give up" attitude as he continued pressing on, adding, "He just kept fighting it, kept going, and kept going."

"I haven't heard from him yet, so that's not a good sign. He might not be too happy with me, but here we are," Cavallari explained, referring to herself as "f**king heartless."

The "Uncommon James" founder was married to former NFL player Jay Cutler for seven years before divorcing him in 2020, citing "inappropriate marital conduct" and "irreconcilable differences" as the reasons behind their breakup.

At the time of her separation from the former football star, she stated that living together with Cutler was "unsafe" and "improper" and asked for primary custody of their children.

Cutler was also reported to have had an affair with Cavallari's best friend, Kelly Henderson. She claimed she tried to reach out to Henderson to address the issue, but she was defensive about it.

The "Hills" star and her ex-husband share three children, Camden, 10, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 7.

During her February appearance on the Broad Ideas podcast with Rachel Bilson, Cavallari divulged that several men who are already hitched are the ones making advances at her.

The reality tv star expressed dissatisfaction with her dating life before stating that she was not ready to date because "I'm attracting all of these unavailable men." 

Cavallari was recently linked with "Bachelorette" star Tyler Cameron after they were spotted being intimate at a New Year's eve party.

During the podcast, she revealed she'll no longer consider dating an athlete because of their tight schedule.

"Here's my deal. I dated a hockey player. For me, now in my life where I'm at, it's more about schedules. So baseball, they're gone all the time. Basketball, they're gone all the time. Football's reasonable. Hockey, they're gone a lot, but it's doable," Cavallari said.

She continued, "To be honest, I don't want to say anything I'm going to end up regretting, but I don't think I want to date another athlete. I've done that. I want to leave that in the past."

During the Broad Ideas podcast interview, Cavallari revealed that she now holds potential suitors to a "higher standard" and is currently "focusing on herself."

"Not to say that I'm not dating a little bit or talking to some people or whatever, but anything serious, I'm just not in a place for it right now, which is fine," she explained, per Page Six.

The Balancing In Hills author also divulged that she had put a stop to childbirth and would only reconsider in certain situations.

"I'm not going to have more kids. It would be so hard for me to go back and have another one because my baby is seven and I can't imagine going back and doing it all again. So, unless I met the love of my freaking life and he wanted one and didn't have any, maybe, but like, I don't think so," Cavallari stated.
