Paulina Porizkova Finally Reaches One Million Followers On Instagram!

Model Paulina Porizkova is known for her candid discussions on beauty and aging in the public eye, her occasionally topless photos, and promotions for her new book, "No Filter: The Good, The Bad, and The Beautiful."

In her latest Instagram post on March 1, however, the 57-year-old fashion model revealed that she had received a major social media milestone: she finally has one million followers on Instagram!

In her latest Instagram post, the "Anna" actress didn't waste time letting her followers know exactly why she was so happy. In the caption, in all capital letters, she wrote, "ONE MILLION FOLLOWERS ON MARCH 1, 2023."

"Wow. I can with assurance say I never expected this, never dreamt of it and when first joining the IG community, couldn’t even fathom it," she wrote. "Yet, today is the day. Those of you who have just joined to push it to the big mill, thank you so much, and welcome!"

"To those of you who found me in the last year, I’m so happy you’re here. To those who have stuck with me through some of my darkest times, thank you a thousandfold," she went on. "You helped me to keep swimming when I was afraid I’d drown."

"I owe you all the space in my life which I now inhabit, and your consistent love and support has lifted me and held me until I was strong enough to get out of the d*** water and stagger to the beach," she went on. "I’m on the beach now, surrounded by you. What adventures still lie ahead! And how happy I am to be able to share them all with you as you share yours with me."

"THANK YOU ALL A MILLION TIMES. A kiss and a hug a MILLION times to each one of you,” she concluded, wrapping up with her signature hashtags #betweenjloandbettywhite, #onemillion, #gratitude, and #celebration.

Many fans and famous friends congratulated her on her achievement. “Woohoo! That’s a lot of humans you’ve touched! Keep sharing your authentic and magnificent self! You truly model the stuff that matters!” one fan commented. “Congrats Paulina! You know it’s because you’re one in a million as the say! It’s been such a joy to follow you. Keep sharing!” another follower wrote.

Only one day before she reached a million followers on Instagram, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model took to social media to share a blurry selfie that featured her holding up the cover of her new book, "No Filter: The Good, The Bad, and The Beautiful."

"Shameless self-promotion! Book events! All of March I’m so lucky to get to meet you and sure, hawk my book," she wrote in the caption. "There is the Long Island Lit fest where I’m interviewed by @christiebrinkley this coming Sunday, University of Albany on Tuesday, and then a nice long bunch of events in San Francisco and a little signing in LA."

"If you click my link in bio you can see them all and sign up if interested!" she explained. "I’ve had the pleasure of doing quite a few events now; last night was the Wise and Wonderful Women, where I once again got to meet exactly those, and I can honestly say I’ve never had such a rewarding time in my life."

Unfortunately, the Long Island LitFest at the Cinema Arts Centre has been sold out. At the event, Paulina will be interviewed by supermodel Christie Brinkley. Tickets were $45 for the public and included a copy of her latest book.

The website for the event says that Paulina is going to talk about her “amazing career, the complexities of womanhood at every age, and her intimate, introspective, and enlightening essay collection, No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful.” It also reportedly included an audience Q&A and book signings.
