Lizzo Explains Why Talking To Her Stomach Helps Herself Feel Good

Lizzo has become one of the hottest pop stars in the world over the last two and a half years. She is also known for spreading body positive messages on social media and that's what she did again on her Instagram feed on Tuesday.
She embraced in her video and caption of how she looks and went on to reveal why speaking to her stomach on a daily basis helps her feel better about herself. She also explained why she praises her stomach all the time as well.
Lizzo Blows Her Belly Kisses And Says She Loves All Of Herself
Lizzo added that she always gives her belly affection such as kisses and reflected on how she wanted it gone before. Now, she realizes that it's important because its part of who she is.
"I started talking to my belly this year. Blowing her kisses and showering her with praises. I used to want to cut my stomach off I hated it so much. But it’s literally ME. I am learning to radically love every part of myself. Even if it means talking to myself every morning. This is your sign to love on yourself today!"
Fans Love Lizzo's Confidence
Despite a good amount of haters on social media who sadly try to hate on Lizzo when she tries to happily show off her body, there are plenty of people who uplift her. They admire her daily confidence and this has helped other plus-sized women as well who may be battling their own insecurities.
In Lizzo's latest post, people showed her with love after the message she gave in her IG caption as they applauded that she stands for how she looks.
Lizzo Turned Into A Superstar In 2019
In the spring of 2019, Lizzo released her third studio album, "Cuz I Luv You." This project got her to finally take off in the mainstream world as a epic pop artist as well as being able to rap as well. Cuz I Luv You peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by hit singles such as "Truth Hurts" and "Good As Hell."
Both of these records were actually released back in 2016 but fans finally caught on to them and realized how great they were. Truth Hurts went on to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Good As Hell ended up getting a huge remix with Ariana Grande. The album has since gone platinum.
Lizzo Has Won Three GRAMMYs
Lizzo's 2019 success translated into huge wins at the 2020 GRAMMYs as well as she was nominated for eight awards. She took home three as she won the categories for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best Urban Contemporary Album. The winners here for her were "Jerome," "Truth Hurts," and the "Cuz I Luv You" album. Lizzo was quiet as far as released went in 2020 but after the year she had, it was all good. Expect her to possibly make a return and win big again in 2021, though.
