Kelsea Ballerini Unfollows Ex, Morgan Evans, On IG After Confirming Chase Stokes Romance

Amid their online beef and her new relationship, Kelsea Ballerini has unfollowed Morgan Evans on Instagram. Ballerini filed for divorce in August 2022, and about three months later, they finalized the process. 

Stokes and Ballerini confirmed their relationship last week, with him sharing a photo of the singer kissing his cheek. She previously addressed the dating rumors by making a TikTok asking fans to stop reading and looking for information. She talked about Evans' song about their relationship, saying it made her "livid."

Evans spoke on Instagram about Ballerini's comments on their divorce, saying she didn't reveal the actual reality of their separation. A new report has also alleged that Ballerini had an affair with musician Drew Taggart at the 2019 Lollapalooza.

Days after confirming her relationship with actor Chase Stokes, Kelsea Ballerini has unfollowed her ex-husband Morgan Evans. The "Blindsided" singer filed for divorce in August 2022 and finalized the process in November of that same year. 

According to their divorce settlement, the former couple, who were married for about five years, had a prenuptial agreement in place. They've decided to share their assets equally, including their Nashville home, which is now empty and up for sale. 

Last week, Stokes confirmed his relationship with Ballerini by posting a photo of them on Instagram. The image featured the singer hugging the "Outer Banks" actor and kissing him on the cheek. With the snap, he wrote, "imy" (meaning "i miss you") with a black heart emoji, as Ballerini is currently busy with her tour. 

Ballerini and Stokes first triggered relationship rumors in January this year after they were photographed at the National College Football Championship. The photos quickly went viral as they showed the celebs holding each other intimately. 

The week after the rumors began, Ballerini addressed them in a TikTok video. The video featured a screenshot of Instagram blogger Duexmoi's post that the relationship would only be a PR move. The caption of Ballerini's video was, "I'm about to break up with the internet 5 sure."

In the video, the "Peter Pan" singer urged fans to stop prying into the possible relationship. She said, "I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. Stop reading, stop reading, stop looking. But what is happening, guys? What? What? What? Let's not do this, you know?"

The day before she and Stokes confirmed their relationship on Instagram, Ballerini had a tell-all interview on Alexandra Cooper's Call me Daddy podcast. She spoke about being "livid" over Evans' new single, "Over for You," which he released in November 2022. 

In the song, Evans sang about how his ex blindsided him with the decision to end their marriage. Ballerini said, "As he's putting out a song about being blindsided, he's taking half the house that he didn't pay for. How was I married to this person for this long and had no idea that that bit of character was tucked within that human being?"

Evans made his comment on Ballerini's claims about their relationship and her new EP, "Rolling Up the Welcome Mat," in an Instagram post. It read, "It's really sad for me to see this person, who I spent so much of my life with, and loved with all my heart, saying things that aren't reality and that leave out what really happened."

Page Six recently released a report claiming that Ballerini cheated on Evans with The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart. Taggart and Ballerini had their alleged fling at the 2019 Lollapalooza shortly after they collaborated on "This Feeling" in 2018. 

However, Ballerini hid the affair from Evans until 2021, which became one of the major issues of their marriage. Neither the "Miss Me More" songstress nor the "Call you Mine" singer is yet to confirm the rumors. However, a source close to Taggart confirmed to Page Six that he was single when he and Ballerini had the alleged affair.
