Dave Grohl recently had some meaty plans!
The Foo Fighters frontman and Nirvana drummer performed quite the rock and roll gesture in Los Angeles last week when he helped supply some good eatin' during the city's Hope Mission's run to end homelessness.
The "Big Me" singer spent his entire day cooking, and later reportedly serving dinner for the residents of Los Angeles' Hope Mission shelters. Grohl reportedly spent 16 hours in the kitchen, and also caught a nap in the parking lot of the event!

So, without telling anyone, Dave Grohl brought his giant smoker and cooked/fed barbecue and sides for 500 folks at Hope Mission in L.A. during the storms. Paid for it all. Worked 16 hours. Billboard also reported Foo Fighters announced three headlining show dates earlier today as well.
The first date will happen on May 24th in New Hampshire, the second in Arkansas, with the third and final in Alabama.
Many fans commented on the band's Instagram post announcing the dates wanting to know who will be taking Taylor Hawkins' spot in the drum seat. Hawkins passed away on March 25th of last year while the band was in Columbia, slated to perform at a music festival.
No replacement for Hawkins has been announced publicly, as of this writing. Hawkins' son, Shane, sat behind the drum seat last fall, performing "My Hero" during the tribute concert for his dad.
