Keke Palmer Encounters First Mom-Shamer 48 Hours After Giving Birth!

Keke Palmer is just a few hours fresh from giving birth and she’s already encountered her first mom-shamer.

The actress announced the arrival of her little boy on Monday, February 27th.

She shared a series of photos and videos to Instagram of her, boyfriend Darius Jackson and their baby boy named, LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, aka "Leo."

Many of her fans and followers sent her congratulatory messages, BUT… there were a few people who shaded Keke for her child’s name choice.

“That name sound like it led a civil rights March,” @_DocLee tweeted.

Keke didn’t waste any time hitting back at the insult writing, “It’s giving I marched with Martin [Luther King Jr.], purr.”

Keke also celebrated that fact that her little bundle of joy made his entrance into the world during Black History Month.

“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match ?!” she wrote in the caption of her IG announcement.

Keke first announced her pregnancy in December 2022 during her “Saturday Night Live” host monologue.

However, she first sparked pregnancy speculation in November.

During her ‘SNL’ monologue she said, “There’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight — I am.”

She pulled open her blazer to reveal her very obvious baby bump.

“You know, I gotta say, though. It is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you, y’all, but it’s even worse when they’re correct,” she joked. “I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low because I got a lot of stuff going on. You know, people kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations,’ and I’m like, ‘Shhh, can y’all stop? I got a liquor sponsorship on the line.”

Keke described her pregnancy as “the biggest blessing.”

Following her “mommy-to-be” announcement, Keke didn’t hold back from flaunting her growing baby bump.

She even documented setting up the crib for her little one, and we all know how that goes.

Keke’s other half shared a video on his Instagram that extensively showed himself and Keke assembling a wooden crib for their bundle of joy in the comfort of their home.

They were both dressed casually and looked like they were setting up the bed in a room that accommodated the “Nope” star’s shoes and bag. The proud father-to-be positioned the crib to rest against the wall and gave a ‘daddy pose.’

The upload was captioned, “Some behind the scenes from building our 1st crib.”

His girlfriend expressed her excitement with a clap and teary-eyed emoji while his fans filled the comment section with praises and admiration over the crib’s preparation.

One commentator wrote, “Dad mode with the crocs and pose.”

Another person wrote, “Eeeeeee seriouslv soooo excited for you both!!! ? ??. that baby is going to be very blessed ??❤️.”

A third commentator penned, “Lot of hard work but it’s worth it ??.”
