George Clooney Recalls Being Filmed By Onlookers In A Dire Situation

George Clooney is a name most people are familiar with, as he's a very popular and loved actor in Hollywood. 

Usually, the press goes overboard, when looking for news on celebrities, or trying to get pictures to publish. We often hear of celebrities being harassed one way or the other by the press, which should not be so, because these people are also humans.

Clooney explained his recent experience with people who only cared about filming him while he was hurt rather than helping out.

For those who don't know Clooney, he is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, producer and a philanthropist. He started his career back in the 70's, and gained recognition when he starred in a medical drama called "ER." He has also starred in other movies over the years like; "From Dusk till Dawn," "Out of Sight," "Michael Clayton," "The Descendants," and "The Midnight Sky." Clooney has received over 20 awards, and he currently has a networth of $500 million, which makes him one of the richest actors in the world.

In 1989, Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam, but they broke it off in 1993. He then got into a relationship with Stacy Keibler, but their relationship ended in July 2013. After this, he found love again with Amal Alamuddin. Amal, who is a British- Lebanese human rights lawyer, married to George in September 2014, they had their first twin kids, Ella and Alexander in June 2017. They have been together ever since then.

During an interview with "AARP" Clooney spoke about the way he was treated when he got into an accident.  In July 2018, he was riding his bike in Sardinia, when he crashed into a car. 

His friend Grant Heslov was watching at the time, Clooney said "I’m not a cynical guy, but I will always, always remember that moment, because nobody was jumping to go call for help or coming to help. For them, the worst moment of my life was entertainment."

"People are getting killed because they’re taking a shot of a car crash coming toward them. We’re living in this world where everybody is trying to make themselves fascinating or important or something. When the reality is: Put that phone down."

Luckily the handsome actor escaped with minor injuries.

In some relationships, after marriage, couples often find it difficult to keep the spark they once had. Clooney revealed his secret to a happy and fruitful marriage during an interview with "AARP."  He said this "Even in lockdown, I’ll write a letter and slip it on her desk, or she’ll write a letter and leave it under the pillow, I’m a big believer in letters." "If it were a text, it would feel different. Maybe that’s a generational thing, and maybe it won’t be that way 20 years from now, but for me, somebody sat down and wrote it. Letters folks!
