Halle Berry is peeling down two pair of pants and lifting her shirt to show her MMA-trained abs from a leafy garden. The 54-year-old actress, who completed three years worth of martial arts training in just six months for “John Wick: 3,” today updated her Instagram to show she uses her own merchandise to perfect her workout body, and it was one heck of a video. Halle, who runs her Re-Spin fitness brand, was using an array of waist-training products from the range, and it was brand ambassador stuff. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. It comes as Halle makes headlines for more tender reasons of late, revealing that being a mom of two is “the best job of all.” Some jobs require the body to match, though, with being a Hollywood fitness icon fitting the bill.
Halle’s video, shared with her 6.7 million followers, sent out major workout vibes. The “Catwoman” star had been filmed outdoors amid stony garden paths and delivering a bit of a showoff by teasing a strip-down.
Halle, all bundled up to begin with, was seen carefully peeling down a pair of black sweatpants. Next came the patterned leggings beneath them, with the Oscar winner also lifting up a sweat session crop top, plus removing a waist-trainer. Halle revealed rock-hard abs and a six pack that was humbly mentioned in the star’s caption.
“Thank God it’s #fitnessfriday!” Halle began: “I’m back this week with something I know you all will love…especially you ladies that have had children, like I have.” See her confession after the video!
Halle, seeming to suggest she indulged like the rest of us over the holidays, added: “My abdomen is my problem area so I have to work extra hard. I enjoyed my holiday time off a little too much, but now i’m back at it. I share with you my ab workout after my workout. YEP, that’s what I said.”
The products? Well, they’re all available from Halle’s affordable Re-Spin range, including the waist slimmer and resistance bands she’s been using. More photos below!
Halle, diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic aged 22, recently reflected on a lifestyle that was doing her no favors. Speaking to Women’s Health, the star stated: “I started the day with some sort of sugary cereal like Lucky Charms or Cocoa Puffs and I always, always had a candy bar or some sort of hard candy (Jolly Ranchers and Hot Tamales were my go-to’s) on me.”
Not any more. “Out the window went the candy, the desserts, and even super-sweet fruit,” Halle added, confirming she’s never looked back.
