On January 25, 2021, Alicia Keys, the voice behind “Girl on Fire” and “Empire State of Mind” turned 40, and the celebrations were every bit as hot as she is courtesies her husband, music producer, and rapper Swizz Beatz. 

And uncharacteristically for her, Keys let her fans into some of her more private pictures and videos from the celebrations and looked every bit the diva as she danced and frolicked to her own tune. 

As one fan wrote, wish you a very happy birthday “young legend”.

Alicia Keys can dish out the best of looks when she wants to and her in a bikini top with harem-pants like bottoms give her an undeniable, exotic appeal. 

Fans were “So happy you were born” while others wanted her to “enjoy the light coming your way”.

Clearly, Keys had a fantastic 40th and was into all that was happening, including the killer party her husband threw for her.

What does her husband say to her, ringing in her 40th? Well, he had the sweetest message and story to share about how she was completely selfless and the real deal. His caption read, “Once again Happy Birthday Alicia Dean ????????? Let’s celebrate your life every day ?? One of my favorite things is surprising u with crazy adventures & gifts from our kids”…

As one fan said, “If he doesn’t love me like Swizz love Alicia I don’t want it!!!??❤️”… Quite the couple goals!

So what did Alicia think? Wrote a completely bowled-over wife, “Thank you to everyone for your sweet wishes, beautiful sentiments, and all the love you spread celebrating my BIG bday today!! I’ll never forget it!”

And then she wrote, “One day I’ll tell you the whole story of this weekend …??? My love…. honestly I’m speechless”, the last bit for her husband as she later confessed that she adored him.

Despite all the birthday celebrations, the next day found Alicia a tad pensive as she wrote, “Do u ever feel like the full you is hiding behind a thin sheet. That people can see the outline of you but never all of you?” 

She also alluded that perhaps, even we never really got to know ourselves as well… 

Wrote one of her Instagram followers, “Sometimes we don’t know the littlest parts of ourselves ❤️” while another also agreed, “I think we constantly learn things about ourselves”…
