Lil Baby continues to be one of the most dominant artists in the industry, especially after the 2020 he had. He continues to plan other huge business endeavors as well as another one is on the way. 

According to XXL, the Quality Control Music rapper said during a Zoom call this month that he is planning to open his own restaurant in his hometown of Atlanta. It'll be a lounge and also be located in the heart of the city.

Restaurant To Open Sometime In February Or March

"Actually, I have a new restaurant and I'ma open it in Atlanta," explained Baby. "It was supposed to be open by January, but we had to finish the stages, so maybe, February, March."

Baby also went on to explain what will be available at this restaurant. Among the food items will be lamb chops, lobster tails rice, southern dishes, and more. He went on to reveal that music will be played and a myriad of alcoholic beverages will be available as well. The name still hasn't been revealed yet, though.

Baby Had No. 1 Album Of 2020 In Total Units

Baby arguably had the best year out of any rapper in 2020 and maybe artists overall. He released his sophomore album, "My Turn," in February and it has dominated since then. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is currently 2x platinum in the US. It was led by hit singles such as "Woah," "Sum 2 Prove," "Emotionally Scarred," and "The Bigger Picture" on the deluxe edition. It originally debuted at No. 1 over Bad Bunny's "YHLQMDLG" album.

Baby Is Also Nominated For Multiple GRAMMYs This Spring

Baby's momentum is rolling into 2021 as well as he is nominated for two GRAMMYs as the awards show will take place on March 14. It was originally set for late January but COVID-19 concerns in Los Angeles were the cause for the new rescheduled date. The categories that Baby is nominated in are Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. These are both for the The Bigger Picture single. This record addressed the social justice climate in America at the time as protests were ongoing against racism and police brutality.

Baby Is Working On His Third Album

Baby has been taking a social media hiatus lately after being tired of criticism. This is after belief that he's been cheating on his girlfriend and baby mama, Jayda Cheaves, with adult film stars. Baby is still putting in the work though as he recently revealed on Twitter that he is working on his third studio album. He added that no more collaborations are being done as he is working on making sure the project is completed. Hopefully, it arrives sometime in the spring just like the restaurant.
