How much does the son of the world's richest man pay for a haircut? Nothing... because his pop star mother, Grimes, does it herself! Elon Musk's baby mama shared the interesting results of baby X Æ A-12's DIY haircut on January 28. The singer shared several photos to her IG story that showed the little guy's ears getting lowered by his famous mommy. In typically Grimes fashion, the haircut wasn't your everyday boy's cut. In fact, it was inspired by her favorite 8th-century drama, "The Last Kingdom." Scroll down to see the cut!

Baby X Æ A-12 sat in his baby bath chair and played with several bright-colored toys while mommy went to work on his look. Grimes gently took a pair of scissors to his light locks while he was focused on the loose follicles that fell to the bottom of the tub. "Not sure this haircut went well but he's Viking now," she wrote across the butchered results. It appears that she tried to trip the sides and leave a thick mohawk, just like Uhtred, the main character from "The Last Kingdom."

Grimes continued to share more photos of the little guy's new 'do. Snippets of the 8-month-old's soft golden locks "Haircut inspired by the last kingdom on Netflix which is a masterpiece," the songstress wrote. Unfortunately, the haircut was not a masterpiece but X Æ A-12 is still super cute... even though we can't see his face.
"The Last Kingdom" is a drama that focuses on the invasion of England by the Vikings in the later part of the 8th century. It's pretty great!

The haircut pics provided the best view of Elon and Grimes's child so far, despite the emoji covering his little face. His name caused quite the stir online when he was born because of how unique it was. Grimes took to Twitter at the time to explain the name's meaning.
"•X, the unknown variable ⚔️
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent ? + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (⚔️? metal rat)," the Canadian singer explained.
