'Teen Mom' Nathan Griffith Allegedly Beat Girlfriend Then Called Brother-In-Law To Confess

FormerTeen Mom star Nathan Griffith was arrested and charged with a brutal domestic violence incident against his girlfriend.

Nathan, who was on the popular MTV, show after dating and getting engaged to Jenelle Evans. They also share a son together, but the relationship didn’t last and he quickly moved on to another relationship and Jenelle did the same.

The incident took place in Delray Beach, FL. The cops were called to a domestic disturbance call by Nathan’s brother-in-law William who shared that Nathan called him and confessed that he hurt his girlfriend.

Specifically, he said he "lost it" which led to him choking and dragging his girlfriend upstairs in a fit of rage. Nathan allegedly than hung up which prompted William to text Nathan’s girlfriend to ask if she was okay and she replied, “no”.

The police arrived and Nathan was almost immediately uncooperative. He spoke for both parties involved and claimed to the police that everything was fine and told the police that his brother-in-law was actually on drugs and in fact, not a reliable source.

The police, however, noticed that Nathan had several scratches on his neck and back but when pressed about the injuries, he claimed that they were from sex with his girlfriend. In the court documents obtained by TMZ, it was reported that his girlfriend who is unnamed was also uncooperative at first.

But she eventually told the cops that Nathan was physically aggressive with her leading to her “blacking out” and not being able to recall specifics of the incident. She wouldn’t clarify if she was choked but she did appear to be holding by tears and looked as though to have just been crying.

The female victim, when feeling more comfortable shared some more details of what she could remember and even had an outburst while police were there, reportedly yelling, "I'm 100 some pounds and he's 250 how in the hell am I supposed to get him off me."

The police also shared that they noticed bruising on her neck beginning to appear as the police interview continued. Nathan was eventually placed under arrest and charged with domestic battery by strangulation.

Nathan and Jenelle had a similar situation take place while they were on Teen Mom together. In the clip, Jenelle is in the middle of the street bothered while watching Nathan being placed into the back of a police cruiser.

The show also played the 911 call made by a neighbor who said she could hear Jenelle yelling “get off me, get off me” allegedly begging Nathan. The 911 operator assured the caller that the police were on the way. When she asked if they knew who the people involved were the caller named Jenelle and Nathan.

There is speculation that the woman involved in the new domestic incident could be May Oyola. Last year, Nathan revealed that married the woman but quickly shared that it wasn’t going well so it’s unclear if she stuck around for this domestic violence incident or if it is a new woman in Nathan’s life.
