Bethenny Frankel Puts Her Health First, Opens Up About Living With Autoimmune Disorder
In addition to her entertainment career, the star has launched successful food and beverage business and is a bestselling author. However, her focus on health has taken a more critical turn after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.
The actress posted a picture of herself on a trip to Aspen, looking amazing wearing a Fendi black and white coat with a furry collar over black inner wears and a cowboy hat. She wrote in the caption:
“Despite the health challenges of being in the mountains, I am so grateful to be able to experience such a beautiful place and indulge in my favorite pastime and sport-snowboarding.”

She admitted that the health struggle was real but that the joy of enjoying her pastimes made it worth it and noted the importance of putting health first. She thanked her followers for their love and advice, adding, “PS. Only because I now know how to do my own makeup could I pull myself together when feeling so crappy.”
The entrepreneur’s fans took to the comment section to commend her for being realistic with her struggles, like this follower who wrote, “I struggle with some health stuff too. You’re a great inspiration for being strong but realistic about our health situations. Thank you!”
Another noted, “no one would know you weren’t feeling well. I think you look great in this picture.” A third user gushed, “You are one tough cookie 💪.” A fourth follower appreciated her raw honesty, adding:
“You have no idea how refreshing it is for us “normal” women (noncelebrity). You are simply the best, and I am thankful for you.”
In a video, the author addressed the picture she posted and pointed out that her eyes were “dry and creasy” despite her efforts to make them shine. She said, “I can see why people filter their pictures and wanna touch themselves up. Cos I’d like to touch this up right now, cos I am not at my best.”
The “Hollywood Hills 90028” star expressed her appreciation to everyone who sent her messages especially does with the same disorder, before complaining about the terrible body aches.
After leaving the Bravo show in 2019, Frankel took to Instagram and began to post candid beauty product reviews, which her followers highly appreciated due to the lack of such content in the industry.
Her honesty helped her fan base grow, and The Blast recently shared that she took to her page to thank her 3 million followers. In the post, the 52-year-old shared several pictures and videos of herself at different moments and with amazing people. She partly wrote in the caption:
“Although I was early enough to social media, I never really connected to it. Posting myself in a bathing suit or bragging about something or being somewhere felt really cringe.”
The 52-year-old decided to go ahead and post what she wanted regardless of how weird it was since she had nothing to prove, adding, “It’s been so fun bringing you into my genuine, authentic, wacky crazy life and adventures. This is really me… XOXO. Thanks for 3 million!!!🎉❤️.”
