Gymnast McKayla Maroney Exposed In Upside-Down Wardrobe Malfunction

Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney has suffered a massive and exposing wardrobe malfunction while doing the splits and upside-down. The 25-year-old former athlete, best known for her "unimpressed face" at the London 2012 Olympics, recently proved that being retired hasn't affected her skill-set, with a TikTok video blowing minds as McKayla stuck herself upside-down and in the splits. When the wardrobe is already skimpy, though, there's a risk. McKayla took a giant one, and there was a bit of a flash. Check it out below.

Scroll for the action. McKayla, who tends to keep her TikTok limited to close-up selfies and a little dancing in jeans, broke the mold with this video. The California native, filmed at home and in her spacious kitchen, was teaching the gen-z platform how to do a cartwheel.

The video kicked off with Maroney in selfie mode and in a tight, ribbed, and tan roll-neck sweater. "I've had a lot of people tell me that they don't know how to do cartwheels," the gymnast began.

McKayla clarified that you want to know if you're a "leftie" or a "rightie" as the first step. She's a "rightie." The star, then appeared shot full-length, far out, and demonstrating with her usual ease that defying gravity is possible. Fans saw McKayla matching her top with a likewise and very tight tan miniskirt, showcasing her steely and toned legs and she said: "RIGHT LEG!"

And then there was action. McKayla whipped herself up into a "STAR, SPLIT" cartwheel, but it got a tiny bit awkward.

McKayla might defy gravity, but a wardrobe malfunction isn't off limits, even for the gymnasts. The vault queen appeared to expose her undies, but fans in the comments section chose not to directly mention the brief moment.

"Suddenly becomes really interested in gymnastics" tops comments, although there's no saying why the fan chose to write that. "Now I'm ready for the Olympics!" another fan added, continuing: "Thanks!" This comment didn't get ignored, with McKayla replying: "Amazing. We still got time." McKayla's "unimpressed" face might be nearly a decade old, but the gymnast recently revealed that it's very much still alive. Posting over Christmas and in tight yoga pants by her decorated tree, Maroney let fans know that her family hasn't stopped teasing her about the expression.
