Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Twins, Emme & Max, Turning 15 With Moving Tribute

Jennifer Lopez is more than delighted as her twins, Emme and Max marked a significant milestone. 

The Hispanic actress welcomed twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony in 2008 before their split in 2011. She has since found the love of her life in actor Ben Affleck and together they are raising a blended family.

As the twins turned a new age, the proud mama was over the moon for this accomplishment and took to celebrating. 

MEGAThe “Ain’t your Mama” singer went all out for her kids as they turned fifteen. Lopez shared an emotional clip on Instagram which was a compilation of memorable times she had with the twins at different stages of their life. The clip was set to Taylor Swift’s “Fifteen” song, and it began by showing the songwriter after birthing her babies, which she cradled in her arms.

It then transitioned to show them as toddlers, grinning for the camera. More adorable moments in the video captured the mom of two showering her kids with love. Lopez was spotted coming out of the pool in a red bikini and sweetly kissing young max. Also in the video was a moment where the 53-year-old and Emme sang on stage at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Also included in the emotional clip was a family photo showing the kids, Lopez and Affleck, around a dinner table and a snap of Affleck holding Max in his arms during a car ride.  Accompanying the clip was a lovely tribute where Lopez expressed her love for her kids.

She wrote in the post’s caption, “'Happy birthday to my beautiful, brilliant coconuts. I am so proud of you both in every single way. You bring so much joy and happiness to my heart and soul. I love you beyond forever HAPPY BIRTHDAY #Twins.”

Lopez's fans and other celebrities sent good wishes to the twins in the post’s comment section. One individual wrote, “Happy Birthday to Max and Emme!! They’re two beautiful souls just like their mother!” while another commented, “cryinngggg this is adorable happy birthday to your cocos.”

Admittedly, the singer absolutely adores her kids, and it was not surprising when she emotionally gushed about their impact on her life in an interview with People Magazine. JLo, as she fondly called, disclosed to the publication that her kids inspired her success.

“I had given birth, and the kids honestly just gave me a new direction,” the "Jenny From the Block" singer said. She continued while wiping tears from her eyes, “They just made me realize … what was real and what wasn’t real. They just changed everything.”

Further into the conversation, the “Marry Me” star highlighted that her kids motivated her to change her life. “I started asking more questions of myself of love, of what was right, of what was wrong. I knew for their life to be great, I had to be great and I needed to fix some things and that is where the music came from.”

Perhaps, the “Hustle” actress is looking to add to her family with Affleck as she previously mentioned that she looked forward to it.  According to The Blast, the “Second Act” star talked about her desires while on an episode of “The Breakfast Show” last year.

The businesswoman noted that her relationship with Affleck was the best period in her life, and “nothing was more fulfilling than being able to build a family with him.”

She also stated that he was as dedicated to family as she was, and she was eager for what they would make together. it is worthy noting that the "Batman" star has two children from his former marriage to actress Jennifer Garner, making them the perfect blended family.

MEGAThe proud Latina beauty also spoke about enjoying every moment with the "Gone Girl" actor. In her words, “I really just wanna stay with the moment. I just wanna stay real present in it, as much as I can.”

The lovebirds have done just that since rekindling their love, keeping most of the details of their romance under wrap while still managing to love each other loudly.
