Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney just knocked Instagram sideways with flirty hoop action and a reminder that she's the cutest. The 25-year-old former athlete, largely in the news of late for her cheeky TikToks, was back to the OG of social media image platforms yesterday. McKayla's Monday activity took it down the simple route with a little love to kick the week off, and no, fans didn't see McKayla's London 2012 Olympics "unimpressed face." McKayla's Monday snap came as a selfie, with the California native pouting for her 1.3 million followers in video mode.

McKayla, shot close up, flaunted high cheekbones and a glossy stained lip, also sporting sparkly gold and large hoop earrings as she melted IG with her smile and wrote "HAPPY MONDAY."

McKayla, also wearing gold necklace jewelry and jazzing up her post with diamond and star emoji, kept it short and sweet, also a little less revealing than the eye-popping display made for the recent inauguration of 78-year-old President Elect Joe Biden and side-kick Kamala Harris.

"Never too late for a fresh start," the gymnast wrote five days ago while flaunting her money-makers in a very unbuttoned shirt and tight jeans. McKayla has since updated with a giant nail rant and even admitted to a bedtime technical malfunction.

Headlines might be light-hearted from Maroney now, but they weren't in January 2019 when she revealed her father's passing during an opioid detox.

"In short, my dad, we found out he was addicted to pain pills," she told fans, adding:

"I didn't know this. He went to a hotel randomly one day and was like 'I'm going to quit.' And we were like 'What? What?' His best friend took him, and he died trying to detox, quit from pain pills. He could have just gone to a rehab place and done it right. He didn't and he passed away."

McKayla has not fallen short on the looks updates this year. The gymnast closed 2020 with a reference to her famous "unimpressed face" while by her tree and in tight pants, revealing that her own family teases her about her expression.
