As the release date for Chris Brown and Chloe Bailey‘s joint song “How Does it Feel” draws nigh, the “Party” vocalist is complimenting Bailey in the most adorable way!
Not long ago, the “Let It Shine” alum announced the highly anticipated collab on social media, and several fans were not so thrilled with given Brown’s controversial history of abusing women.
To that end, the “Stomp the Yard” actor’s recent gesture may not be a favorite of critics, but a few are showing support and appreciating Bailey for sticking with him amid the backlash.

Brown is filled with words of flattery as he serenaded Bailey ahead of their upcoming collab, set to be released on Friday, February 24. He uploaded two images of him and Bailey on Instagram, including a highlighted version of their song’s art cover featuring their bodies closely touching with the “Takers” actor’s hand on Bailey’s waist while their heads touched.
The 24-year-old was dressed in a black leather two-piece comprising a long body-hugging skirt and a longsleeved cropped blouse accentuating her bosom. On the other hand, Brown rocked loose pants, what may be a turtle-neck shirt, and an oversized jacket. He paired the look with a pair of sneakers.
In the following slide, Bailey leaned on the 33-year-old songster whose hands held her shoulder as he beamed at the camera, while pouting her lips and gesturing with the peace sign.
Brown wrote in the accompanying caption “24th. @chloebailey you are a beautiful soul… TAKE OVER THE WORLD, SHAWTY, AND DON’T LOOK BACK.” He went on, “YOU ARE A QUEEN! DON’T LET NOBODY TELL YOU NO DIFFERENT! You followed your dreams, and now the universe is fulfilling that manifestation.”
Despite the criticism surrounding the pair’s partnership, the post gained nearly a million likes, with thousands flocking to the comments to dish opinions. Among the commenters, unsurprisingly, was Bailey, who gushed, “can’t wait for the world to hear the magic we created.” The encouraging words did not go unnoticed by her followers, as they responded quickly.
One fan exclaimed, “Yes! Stand united, make great music, and keep being amazing performers! God has blessed you both, and HE has the final say.” A second user thanked the “Fighting Temptations” star for not turning her back on Brown as people passed their judgment.
Similarly, another follower who rooted for the duo sent prayers, writing, “God bless you and keep on going; you know that you were picked and chosen for this moment, and it is yours, so rise grand rising!”
Meanwhile, a commenter who believed Bailey was not a total Brown supporter amid the criticism wrote, “Well, you could’ve stood up for him in some type of way instead of letting it all fall on him ijs.”
The “Kiss Kiss” Songster Furiously Reacts To Critics Disapproving New ‘How Does It Feel’ Collab
While a number of people worldwide are showering praises on Brown and Bailey for their collab, several have been reproachful since the onset following the Georgia native’s announcement.
She dropped the news of the latest collaboration on Instagram last weekend using the cover photo of their music and captioned it, “2ND PIECE. HOW DOES IT FEEL @chrisbrown? 2/24.”
Almost immediately, critics flooded the comments with spiteful remarks, emphasizing Brown’s past of assaulting women, particularly his partners. One ranted, “No, for a variety of reasons. The most obvious been [sic] his history of abusing multiple women, and also, he’s constantly posting conspiracy theories and spreading misinformation (lit right now). Not a good look.”
Another commenter pointed out that the “Beautiful People” vocalist has constantly been open in his songs about not dating or getting involved with Black women, which they believed should not sit well with Bailey. A perplexed fan remarked, “Why do you keep letting him have a damn career. Chloe, you could do so much better than this.”
The outpouring of condemnation caught the “Look at Me Now” singer’s attention in moments as he took to his Instagram Story to address the haters by giving them a piece of his mind.
He raged, “IF Y’ALL STILL HATE ME FOR A MISTAKE I MADE AS A 17Year old, please kiss my entire a**.” Brown further wrote that he was frustrated with the same narrative about his past circulating while comparing his situation to white people previously accused of domestic abuse.
