Diddy Promises Music Comeback After Hiatus To Focus On Other Ventures
It's been nearly six years since Sean "Diddy" Combs released his last album "MMM" in 2015, before putting music seemingly behind him for a while. His contributions to the industry have earned him three Grammy Awards and a place in the hip-hop hall of fame.
After some much-needed time away, the music mogul is ready to return to his "first love." In a Twitter thread, the music producer announced, "Dear R&B fans worldwide! After years away from music, I'm back to doing what I love. R&B is where I started and has always been my first love!"
The "Bad Boy Records" founder stated, "I launched @143LoveRecords to create timeless music with the next generation of artists, writers and producers who represent the future of R&B."
He then went ahead to unveil the title of the new project, writing, "This Friday we're dropping the first project off of Love Records "SONGS FOR WOMEN, FREE GAME FOR NIGGASβ!!!"
He concluded by mentioning the new artist he would be working with, "@DOPEBYACCIDENT is one of the most talented artists I've ever worked with and she's the first of many more to come!! #RnBisALIVELOVE π€ππΏπ«β‘οΈβ¨."
Fans of the legendary artist eagerly responded to his tweet, expressing excitement for what he would have in store for the industry after his hiatus. Like this excited fan who wrote, "Please hurry I want it all sitting here putting myself to sleep on old real music yes indeed gnβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπππ€."
This person stated their readiness for anything he would release while recalling some of the star's old works, "@diddy Let's get it! Whether it's your vocals or producing, love when you do R&B, Puff! That's dope how you took the classic 'I Got 5 On It' beat from the Luniz outta the Bay Area, CA & turned that into a R&B song with 'Satisfy You'! Classic 1999 R&B cut of yours!"
A third made a request while shading female rappers, "Can it be some real slow jams without the obnoxious female rappers." Even though Diddy just made the announcement, this Twitter user was already asking for a tour, "ok cool. But can we get another BadBoy reunion tour or nah?? π©."
Apart from his musical and entrepreneurial talents, the 53-year-old boasts of another β being a doting father. It is common knowledge that he already boasts six children, one of whom is adopted. Per The Blast, he welcomed his sixth biological child in a message via Twitter.
He notified the public in December that he had welcomed a girl child while refusing to reveal the mother's identity. The "I Need a Girl" hitmaker kept the message short and straight to the point, writing:
"I'm so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D'Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!"

The podcast host who recently celebrated her birthday with an exquisite party got people talking when they noticed the giant diamond ring on her finger. The Blast noticed that her followers were quick to speculate that the flashy jewelry was a sign of an engagement with the rapper whom she has been linked romantically for the past two years.
The 28-year-old looked glamorous in a figure-hugging dress that showcased her ample curves, thigh-high slits, and cut-outs on her toned midriff. The main attraction was the ring, which led to her fans writing comments like, "Is that a diamond ring πππ or a ring with diamonds π @mzneeka28."
