Melissa Joan Hart has spilled some more tea on her relationship with Ryan Reynolds that was never followed through!

Reynolds and Hart had met in 1996 for the film, "Sabrina The Teenage Witch," which saw the latter playing the titular character opposite the former, who portrayed her onscreen love interest, Seth. In addition to the film turning into a spin-off series that ran for seven seasons from 1996 to 2003, the screen stars ensured that their roles manifested in the real world, even though Reynolds was not part of the series cast.

Melissa Joan Hart Recalls Her Childhood Crush On Ryan Reynolds

Hart reminisced about her relationship with Reynolds when she joined hosts, David Lascher and Christine Taylor for the Wednesday episode of their podcast. While there, she recalled meeting the "Deadpool" star alongside his teen drama "Fifteen" co-star Chris William Martin — also lovingly referred to as Corky Martin.

Before conversing properly with the duo, the actress told them that even though she had dated Martin, she also had a "little thing." The "Nine Dead" actress further recounted to the "Hey Dude... The 90s Called!" hosts:

"I met Corky... in Utah, or something at a Nick Takes Over Your School [event], and we started phone dating from Vancouver to Orlando. And then I worked on Ryan Reynolds on the first Sabrina [the Teenage Witch] movie. The first movie we did, Ryan was in it."

This would not be the first time Hart would open up about her time with Reynolds, stating in 2017 that she regretted not becoming more serious with him when she had the chance.

At the time, she claimed that they were "smitten and cute," with the now 46-year-old being an "adorable" and "a really nice guy." In a separate conversation when she was 19 years old, Hart said:

"He wasn't the Ryan Reynolds everybody knows these days. You can see, in the clip, the crazy hair. He was sweet — he was very sweet."

She would later explain in her 2013 book, "Melissa Explains It All: Tales from My Abnormally Normal Life," that their connection was not written in the stars because she "had a boyfriend at the time."

Despite that, the now 46-year-old "chased him down, got in front of his car and just kissed him and then made out with him all night." Reynolds, who was 19 then, had even gifted her a Bulova watch earlier that day.

The "Free Guy" actor took things up by visiting her in New York to see if they could make it work. However, she decided "was going to stick" with her then-boyfriend. While her childhood crushes did not work out, Hart has gone on to create her own fairytale ending, marrying singer Mark Wilkerson in 2003.

According to Country Living, the "Clarissa Explains It All" actress knew she would live happily ever after with the guitarist immediately after they met in 2002. The pair made things official in a dreamy Italy affair, which she gushed about during a 2009 interview, stating:

"The most memorable part of my wedding was during the vows. Mark was crying so hard, and we were supposed to put our heads down, but his nose had filled up! I had my grandmother's handkerchief in my cleavage, so while the priest was speaking, I reached into my dress, and everyone giggled—that was the only part of the day that didn't get caught on camera."

The "Melissa & Joey" star and the Course of Nature frontman have since welcomed three sons —  Mason, Braden, and Tucker. As for Reynolds, he married fellow screen star, Blake Lively.

The Canadian-American Actor Gushes About His New Baby With His Wife

Since walking down the aisle with Lively in 2012, Reynolds has welcomed four kids, with the last arriving earlier this month. The Blast reported that the "Two Guys and A Girl" actor opened up on his joy at being a fourth-time dad when he joined CNBC's "Power Lunch" from his home kitchen last week.

While pointedly not ignoring questions about the name or sex of the newborn, the actor revealed that his family was "very excited" addition. He then admitted to Kelly Evans and Tyler Mathisen that he and Lively "wouldn't do this four times if we didn't love it," adding that everybody was "doing great." Later, in true Reynolds fashion, the Aviation American Gin stakeholder joked:

"It's a zoo over here. This is my office here," referring to the kitchen he was joining the telecast from, before concluding, "To be honest, I'll probably spend the rest of my life in here."

Fans had sent in their well-wishes to the parents of four after Lively posted a picture of her sans her baby bump on Instagram during the Super Bowl LVIU weekend.
