Last week,Donald Trump stunned the world when he announced his list of pardons which included over 100 people. In these pardons, Lil Wayne and Kodak Black were there as well. Kodak ended up taking to Twitter to thank Trump for what he did and made it known that he still supports him

Kodak Appears To Backtrack On Previous Idea Of Wanting To Donate $1 Million For Charity If He Was Pardoned

Back in November, Kodak took to Twitter while incarcerated to say that if Trump pardoned him, he would donate $1 million to charity.  The Florida rapper said that this would happen within a year of his release. 

Now, social media has realized that this tweet is gone now. This hints at Kodak not wanting to make this happen anymore. As of now, he still hasn't addressed this move and this may not happen at all.

Kodak Released 'Last Day In' Single Right After Leaving Prison

As common for many rappers who get out of prison, they put out some sort of "First Day Out" song. For Kodak, his was "Last Day In." Here, he showed love for Trump but emphasized that the presidents that he likes the most are printed on money. The fan reaction to this record has been mostly positive as well. 

Back in November, Kodak put out his "Bill Israel" album while still incarcerated. This contained 11 tracks with appearances from Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, and more.

Kodak Is Still Wanted In South Carolina For 2016 Sexual Assault Case

Kodak isn't completely out of the woods yet as far as his legal woes go. Courthouse News reported that his case in South Carolina is still open regarding a 2016 sexual assault case. Here, he allegedly committed this crime against a woman inside a hotel room. Florence County Solicitor Ed Clements told the outlet that he has a detainer on file against Kodak and wants him turned in. Kodak wasn't able to be pardoned of this case due to it being a state issue and not on a federal level. 

Kodak Avoided Full 46-Month Prison Sentence

Kodak's federal pardon for the federal firearms case helped him dodge a bullet. He was serving a 46-month sentence at the time. He was originally arrested back in May 2019 at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. Kodak went on to be sentenced in November 2019. The feds originally turned him in that spring for falsifying information on gun applications and firearms at various locations being linked to him. Now, he is able to start fresh and try to finally avoid getting in trouble.
