'Married Men Want Me'
During a conversation with Rachel Bilson on the Broad Ideas podcast, Cavallari noted that men who are already united in matrimony are mostly the ones that have had eyes for her since she got divorced from Cutler.
The "Very Cavallari" star expressed dissatisfaction with her reality before going on to state that she's not ready for a relationship because "I'm attracting all of these unavailable men."
Cavallari, 36, contrasted her dating history, divulging that she's dated "a lot of kids" in their early 20s and late 20s before stating the kind of man she desires. "This is silly. I need someone who's established," she shared.
According to Page Six, she also revealed that she may never have kids again unless she meets the love of her "freaking life."
She said, "I'm not going to have more kids. It would be so hard for me to go back and have another one because my baby is seven and I can't imagine going back and doing it all again. So, unless I met the love of my freaking life and he wanted one and didn't have any, maybe, but like, I don't think so."
Kristin Cavallari 'Raises The Bar' For Potential Suitors
Even after acknowledging that finding the right partner may be difficult, Cavallari is not giving up hope on the search for a partner but shared that she'll be paying more attention to herself and holding potential suitors to a "higher standard."
The "Uncommon James" founder noted that she's been seeing and talking to some people but isn't ready for anything serious before explaining that she does not want to date an athlete again.
She explained that the "hectic" schedule of athletes is a factor she considered before making the assertion, pointing out that she's dated many of them in the past.
During an appearance on the Back To The Beach podcast, the reality TV star shared her opinion on dating men in sports.
"Here's my deal. I dated a hockey player. For me, now in my life where I'm at, it's more about schedules. So baseball, they're gone all the time. Basketball, they're gone all the time. Football's reasonable. Hockey, they're gone a lot, but it's doable," she said.
Cavallari added, "To be honest, I don't want to say anything I'm going to end up regretting, but I don't think I want to date another athlete. I've done that. I want to leave that in the past."
Kristin Cavallari Was Married To Jay Cutler
The Balancing In Hills author got married to former NFL player Jay Cutler in 2013 but filed for divorce after seven years of marriage, citing "inappropriate marital conduct" and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, per TMZ.
At the time, Cavallari pointed out that cohabitation with Cutler was "unsafe" and "improper" and asked for primary custody of their children.
Her ex-husband, Cutler, 39, has also been accused of infidelity with Cavallari's best friend, Kelly Henderson, which caused a rift between them. She pointed out that she tried to reach out to Henderson to clear the air on the issue but was met with defensive antics by her.
A source close to the ex-couple told People magazine that the cheating scandal between Cutler and Henderson wasn't what caused the rift in their marriage but that they have been having troubles and haven't been spending much time together.
Cavallari and Cutler share three children: Camden, 10; Jaxon, 8; and Saylor, 7.
Kristin Cavallari Opened Up On Her Divorce
The "Paradise Hotel" alum referred to her divorce from Cutler as "the best thing I've ever done" while speaking on the School of Greatness podcast.
While pointing out that her children inspired her to be the best version of herself, Cavallari shared that she had to take that step to be able to give them more.
"Being in a relationship where I was really unhappy, that wasn't going to work for me. And I knew in my gut for a long time that I had to do it. That was the scariest thing I've ever done, get a divorce in addition to it being the best decision," Cavallari divulged, per Page Six.
She added, "What I've also realized going through a divorce is that even in our most challenging times, when we think the world is falling apart, we're always going to be this sad, everything is going to always be horrible, we get through it … and then we look back and we realize why everything happened."
