The end of an intimate relationship can prove especially hard for anyone. According to sources, “The Bachelorette” star Clare Crawley is having a tough time after her split from former fiancé Dale Moss.
Recently, a source informed Us Weekly that Crawley, who is yet to make a statement about the status of her relationship, is a nervous “wreck.”
The insider shared that although the breakup was difficult for both parties, Crawley took it hard as she had imagined a life and future with Moss, and seeing her dreams go down the drain has left her devastated.
A Messy Deal
In an Instagram post, the reality star admitted to having a hard time and added that her mother, who is battling Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, seemed to know something was wrong.
Crawley’s Instagram post happened a few days after Moss took to his social media page to reveal their split.
In the comment section, Crawley’s ex-fiance Benoit Beauséjour-Savard showed his support when he wrote, “this just melted my heart,” accompanied by a watery eye emoji and the red heart emoji.
The Us Weekly source also divulged that Crawley and Moss had it messy at the end but did not go into details.
The Bliss At The Beginning
Crawley and Moss met and got engaged in the reality TV show’s last season, “The Bachelorette.” The season ended early for Crawley because she felt that she had found “the one.”
At the time of proposal, Moss said, “From the moment I stepped out of the limo, this was special. I know without the shadow of a doubt that you would go to the end of the world for me and I’ve never had that. I’m so grateful for that.”
He then uttered that his late mother would have approved of their love. AWWW!
The End Of Love
In a joint statement made by Crawley and Moss announcing the end of their engagement, they were clear that they will always have each other at heart.
Per Maire Claire, the joint statement read,
“We understand a lot of you have been asking about our relationship since the show, and we wanted to thank you all for the love and respect as we navigated it in real life off-camera. We do understand, however, having a public engagement on TV kind of changes that. It’s with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship. We think the world of each other, and we were both hoping we could make this work.”
Support From All Quarters
Although the breakup hit hard at home, Crawley seems to have many good people showing their love and support during this challenging time.
Some fans were stunned that Crawley’s ex Beauséjour-Savard showed his support for her; however, the pair had a mutual split and remained friends.
In light of Crawley’s split with Moss, it is unclear if she had reached out to Beauséjour-Savard, or he reached out first. Crawley and Beauséjour-Savard met on the “Bachelor Winter Games” in February 2018, dated, gotten engaged, and split by April.
