Iggy Azalea Is Not Sorry For Deciding To 'Commodify' Her Body On OnlyFans

Iggy Azalea is not apologizing for commodifying her body on OnlyFans!

The rapper, who previously vowed not to join the content subscription service, shocked many when she announced in January that she not only had an account but was charging $25 per month for it. And if her first-day earnings of $307k are any indication, Azalea is raking in the big bucks, and it would be twice as hard for her to let go of her latest business venture.

Over a month after she informed fans that she was joining OnlyFans to promote her year-long project, "Hotter Than Hell," which includes multimedia content and visual art collaborations, Azalea has doubled down on why she will see her plan through.

The "Work" hitmaker had no reservations about her new venture when she sat with Emily Ratajkowski on her "High Low with EmRata" podcast. The duo started the conversation by talking about the "sh*tload of money" that the rapper made since becoming an OnlyFans user last month.

Azalea declared she is "making so much money" that she "won't even say how much it is." From then on, the pair talked about commodifying their bodies, with the mother-of-one divulging that even though record labels made "so much money off my body," she had gotten the "smallest cut."

With that experience trailing her career, the 32-year-old was adamant about feeling unapologetic for cutting off the "middle man" and commodifying her body herself. In her words:

"I don't think I have to say sorry about the fact that I want to commodify my own sh*t. It's been commodified and I wasn't even the main f**king benefactor of it, so f**k this. And I enjoy it. I'm going to do it anyway."

With her last statement, Azalea confirmed to fans that posting raunchy, uncensored videos and images of herself went beyond having control. If anything, she thoroughly loved showing off her body, especially after she went under the knife for a nose job and a breast augmentation in 2014. After affirming that she liked her fake breasts, she added:

"I'm happy with them and I like my body. I like my body. I liked my body before. I liked my face before and I like it now. I like myself. I never didn't. I never hated myself."

As we mentioned above, the Australian beauty is charging subscribers $25 per month, which covers the basics. Users must pay more through upselling if they want to see even raunchier content from the rapper. Additionally, a tip of $250 would earn users a "VIP" slot for a year, which comes with one free exclusive photo.

Soon after Azalea — real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly – began her OnlyFans career, The Blast observed that a critic attacked her. The critic used the American Music Awards winner's Instagram post featuring a sultry picture featuring her in a purple bikini top to drive home their point.

Azalea paired the top with red and black bikini bottoms, highlighting her taut waistline and trim figure. The skimpy outfit also emphasized her sleeve tattoos and underboobs, perfectly matching her wet, wavy hair and slightly made-up face.

The "Pretty Girls" hitmaker captioned the post, "The last laugh belongs to me. ?, kickstarting a conversation in the comment section. While several people lauded the Empire signee for her "amazing body," the troll commented:

"I don't get it…. last laugh is yours? How….they got you doing only fans." 

Not one to let such remarks fly, Azalea asked the person to find out about the eight-figure deal she made last November, adding, "then ask yourself again who made me do anything? LolliiiiIll y'all are so dramatic & WEIRD…."

The mouth-watering deal in question saw the four-time Grammys nominee selling the publishing share and master of some of her most significant hits, including "Fancy," "Problem," and "Black Widow," to Domain Capital. Meanwhile, the "Sip It" rapper had declared in a 2021 tweet:

"I think onlyfans can be really empowering for people, But I WILL NEVER, EVVVER join. I don't want to make that type of content & it only f**ks up the bag for ppl on there who really bout that life. Shoutout to the baddies tho!!!!"

That tweet provides some context for the troll’s disappointment and comment.
