Dolly Parton Pens Sweet Tribute To Her Late Brother Who Died Of Cancer

Dolly Parton mourns the death of her younger brother, who died recently after a heroic battle with cancer. Parton and her family are mourning the death of their loving family member with tributes.

Death is an inevitable thing, everybody will surely die one day, but we often pray that it doesn't come when we haven't lived the most of our lives, however, we can say what will be, will be.

Parton gave a very loving penned tribute to her late brother; a well-deserved and sweet message. We hope for consolation to Randy's immediate family and all who cared for him.

Dolly Parton is an American country singer, songwriter, author, multi-instrumentalist and humanitarian. She was born into an average-wage family, born to Robert and Avie Lee Parton, with eleven siblings; five sisters, and six brothers.

Their names are; Willadeene, David Wilburn, Coy Denver, Bobby Lee, Stella Mae, Cassie Nan, Randell Huston, Larry Gerald, Estel Floyd, and twins Freida Estelle and Rachel Ann. Dolly is the fourth child out of all.

She had lost two of her brothers in the past, named Larry and Estel. Now she has lost another brother, Randell popularly known as Randy.

Randy Parton was an American singer-songwriter, an actor, and a businessman. He was born on December 15, 1953.

During his lifetime, Randy was married to Deb Parton, however, there is not much information on his wife Deb, but it is known that they had three children named Heidi, Trever and Sabyn. Trever sadly died in 2017.

Randy did a collaboration with his sister Dolly on a song named “You Are My Christmas.” This was his last piece of work with Dolly.

He had been battling cancer for so long and passed away on January 21, 2021. He is survived by his wife Deb, and his two children Heidi and Sabyn. 

Dolly gave a tribute to her late brother, saying he was “shining in heaven”. She said this “My brother Randy Parton has lost his battle with cancer.” 

“The family and I are grieving his loss, but we know he is in a better place than we are at this time. We are a family of faith, and we believe that he is safe with God and that he is joined by members of the family that have gone on before and have welcomed him with joy and open arms,” she said.

Dolly celebrated her birthday two days ago, before this unfortunate incident, however, she has her family and friends to help her through this difficult time.

After the passing of Dolly's brother was made known, many fans took to their social media pages to share their condolences with Dolly and her family. 

Randy's fans will also continue to remember him and his beautiful works in the music industry. The Partons are a family of music, right from when they were all little kids, they were all encouraged by their mother to be a part of the choir, which proved useful in the end.

It's no wonder that they are not only talented in the Parton family, music is a part of their body, spirit, and soul. We pray Randy's soul rests in perfect peace!
