“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne has moved out of the mega-mansion she shared with her husband Thomas Girardi and into a much more modest home amid financial issues.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Thomas’s brother Robert Girardi filed documents in court to become his conservator. He claims Thomas is suffering from short-term memory loss and that has contributed to his serious legal problems. His creditors believe that is a bunch of nonsense and call it a convenient excuse for someone who stands accused of ripping off widows and orphans.

In the documents, Robert listed all the people he wants to be notified of the conservatorship petition. The second name listed is Erika Chahoy aka Erika Girardi aka Erika Jayne. She is listed as his “spouse.” The documents also listed a new address for Erika.

Earlier this year, Erika filed for divorce from Thomas after 21 years of marriage. She reportedly moved out of the $15 million 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom Pasadena mansion she shared with Thomas. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star was rumored to have moved into a $1 million-dollar pad.

The rumors were true. Erika moved into a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2,015 sq ft. home near the Fairfax area and Hancock Park. The property listing reads, “Elegant living room w/large barrel ceiling & bright arched windows. Kitchen includes Viking Double Ovens, Sub Zero Fridge, Thermador gas stove & sunny breakfast nook.”

The home is a far cry from the lavish lifestyle she lived for years until it all came crashing down this year. Erika and Thomas are currently named defendants in a massive federal lawsuit. The suit says Thomas represented a bunch of families who lost loves ones in a plane crash. They won a settlement but claim Thomas never paid out the full amount. They believe he diverted a portion of the settlement monies to fund his lifestyle with Erika.

In the petition for conservatorship, Robert Girardi writes, Tom’s current condition has “sadly deteriorated to the point where he cannot care of himself without assistance. He said Thomas has had people taking care of him for 25 years. His housekeeper is set to quit on him due to “Tom’s financial situation: he cannot pay them any longer.”

Robert says Thomas lives alone and “it is highly doubtful that Tom could manage most of the activities of daily living for any significant period of time without assistance.”

He ended, “Tom's cognition has declined significantly. As such, Tom cannot prevent his property from loss or dissipation or resist fraud or undue influence. Petitioner believes Tom's short-term memory is severely impacted and he is, at times, disoriented as to date, time, and place. Accordingly, he is unable to handle his financial affairs and protect his property at present. Additionally is currently personally subject to multiple lawsuits, including an involuntary bankruptcy. Tom does not understand the dire situation and says his money situation will clear up next week. It is obvious to Petitioner (and anyone else who knows him) that Tom cannot make the decisions needed to handle the important issues relating to this property”

Last month, Thomas’s creditors, including his former law partner, filed a Chapter 7 involuntary bankruptcy. In the docs, they accused the once-respected lawyer of owing millions but refusing to pay up.

His creditors don’t buy Thomas is losing his memory. They claim he was fine negotiating with them only a couple of months ago. A judge has yet to rule on the conservatorship.
