Lilly recently opened up about her ignorance of who Harry Styles was after watching him make a cameo appearance in "Eternals."

According to Insider, the "Real Steel" actress, in an interview with IGV Presents, explained that upon seeing Styles in the movie, she thought he was just a random actor trying to get his big moment even though the singer was already pretty famous at the time.

Styles starred as Starfox in the movie, which also featured celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Barry Keoghan, and Lauren Ridloff.

Lilly, 43, went ahead to point out that when she saw Style's performance in the movie, she asked who "that kid" was, noting that they were going to be very successful.

"Well, for me, it was 'that guy,' and I was like, 'Who is that kid because he's gonna be really successful. He's got some serious mojo,'" Lilly narrated. "Swear to god. I was like, 'He's gonna be a big star.' That's what I thought to myself."

One thing Lilly and Styles share in common is their names being written on the list of two of Marvel's lowest-rated movies to date.

According to the Insider, "Ant-Man and the wasp: Quantumania," which Lilly starred in as Hope Vandyne or Wasp, has gotten the worst review since "Eternals," which featured Styles.

The movie was rated a meager 48% on rotten tomatoes as of last Friday, even though it was a highly anticipated film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Eternals," which featured Styles, didn't do much better either, racking up a 47% critics' score on rotten tomatoes.

Insider noted that the movie was "fun" but "clunky," adding that the script "struggles to keep things flowing in a way that doesn't give the audience whiplash."

Evangeline Lilly Turned Down Hugh Jackman's Request

Although The Squickerwonkers author may not be familiar with Harry Styles, she was very cognizant of who Hugh Jackman was when he pitched her the chance to work on "X-Men," which Lilly turned down to his face.

While appearing on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Lilly revealed that Jackman had personally pitched the opening to her while they were both working on "Real Steel" in 2011.

"He was like, 'Hey, so, the X-Men guys are asking me if I'd approach you because they know you won't talk to anyone,'" she explained. "They knew I was working with you and were interested to know if it would ever interest you to do an X-Men thing."

Elsewhere in the interview, Lilly explained that her disdain for superhero movies made her initially decline the opportunity to work on "Ant-Man," but for the intervention of her manager.

She claimed her agent asked her to check out Marvel films, which she was dazzled by. "When I did, I was like, 'Oh, they're doing something very different and very cool,'" she said.

Lilly also revealed that she didn't have a good encounter on the first meeting with Joss Whedon after being asked to star as Wonder Woman.

She explained that Whedon might have also been offended by her for not jumping at the offer, but she was okay with "burning bridges" and not getting called up for jobs.

"I just always had to do what felt right for me," she stated. "And honestly, I wasn't into superhero movies, and that's the main reason why, in both of these instances, I just kind of felt like I don't know what I get out of this."
