'RHOC' Star Elizabeth Vargas Believes Braunwyn Windham-Burke Should Divorce Husband Sean

Elizabeth Vargas doesn't understand why Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her husband, Sean Burke, are staying married. 

During an interview with Us Weekly, via AOL, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" cast member said that while she doesn't judge the couple for their decision to have an "open marriage" as they raise their seven children, she believes it would  make more sense for the two of them to go their separate ways.

"You know, my ex-husband and I had a weird relationship too. I can’t judge it. [But] I think they should divorce," Elizabeth explained. 

"Sean should move on and she should let him," Elizabeth said as she suggested Sean be allowed to have a girlfriend, just as Braunwyn has her own girlfriend. 

As fans may have seen, Braunwyn came out as a lesbian in December of last year and has since confirmed that she is dating a woman named Kris.

According to Elizabeth, Braunwyn is going to have her bills paid no matter what because she and Sean share seven children.

"He’s going to have to pay her bills anyway, so she needs to kind of let him go. She’s going to get her bills paid. She has seven kids. She needs to let him go," Elizabeth continued. 

"I’ve met Sean plenty of times, and he is a wonderful human being. In fact, he loves her so much and it’s so heartbreaking to see her say she was never attracted to him," Elizabeth shared. 

In December, as she revealed she was a lesbian for the first time publicly, Braunwyn admitted that despite having seven children with her spouse, she's never actually been attracted to him sexually. 

Elizabeth went on to say that she experienced a similar situation in the past.

"It reminds me of a situation I was in where it was okay for that person to have all the lovers they wanted but I had to stay home and take care of everything," she recalled. 

"It was identical to my last life so I don’t agree with how she’s handling it," Elizabeth explained. "They should divorce and then just live separate lives. The house is rented, so they should get out of the lease. They only had a year lease. Whatever they want to do, they should live separate lives. And the kids are already in turmoil."

According to Elizabeth, Braunwyn and Sean's children have been through a lot in recent months, including Braunwyn's lesbian reveal and the news of her alcoholism.

"They’re going through abandonment. It’s kind of like… They can both live in the same neighborhood, just have two different [houses] and stop using Sean!" Elizabeth demanded.

As she further explained her issues with Braunwyn, Elizabeth said she felt as if she were Sean in her last relationship. 

 "I guess I’m a little bitter because I feel I was Sean in my last relationship," she stated. 

Elizabeth then said that Braunwyn and Sean have "dirt on each other" and teased that the dirt would be revealed at some point during filming on the upcoming 16th season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

"She should probably just let go and move on but it is what it is," she added.
