A day after the producer/rapper was admitted, four men attempted to enter his Pacific Palisades home, according to TMZ. They tried to enter the home at 2am. Fortunately, security saw them immediately and called police.
They attempted to flee the scene but police were able to apprehend them quickly. They ended up being charged with attempted burglary and are reportedly still in custody following the incident.
Dre Agreed to Pay His Estranged Wife $2 Million While In ICU Care
As if Dre wasn’t dealing with a lot with the brain aneurysm situation, he continues to deal with the process of the divorce of his estranged wife, Nicole Young. The two had been married since 1996.
During the week that Dre was hospitalized, he agreed to pay Young $ 2 million in temporary spousal support. Dre also agreed to pay $500,000 to cover her attorney fees. This $2 million check is a one-time payment, but TMZ also stated that this is the case at least until their next court hearing in April. Young also claimed that Dre held her at gun point before.
