American singer and actress Chloe Bailey may have to rethink her upcoming feature with pop star Chris Brown after coming under fire from fans following news of her new feature with the singer.

The upcoming song by Brown and the "Pray it Away" crooner didn't sit well with fans, who flocked to social media in large numbers to express their disapproval.

Brown has also slammed his detractors in a lengthy rant, calling them out on their continued criticism of him. He even goes as far as comparing himself to white celebrities who have been accused of domestic abuse over the years.

Chloe Bailey To Feature Chris Brown In New Song

The "Have Mercy" singer took to Instagram to disclose that her new song "How Does it Feel" will be starring Chris Brown and was set to be released next Friday.

Bailey, 24, posted a photo on Instagram of herself and the "Under The Influence" singer hugging for the cover of the song and captioned it, "2ND PIECE. HOW DOES IT FEEL @chrisbrown? 2/24."

Several fans pointed out the singer's controversial past and history of abuse against women as the reason for their objection, with some going on to tag Brown as "disgusting."

Fans Slam Chloe Bailey For Collaborating With Chris Brown

Moments after sharing the news of her upcoming song with Brown, several fans of the singer took to social media to express their dissatisfaction over her collab partner.

One fan said, "No. For a variety of reasons. The most obvious been [sic] his history of abusing multiple women and also he's constantly posting conspiracy theories and spreading misinformation (lit right now). Not a good look."

A second user shared, "not only does he have a history of abuse with multiple partners, he has stated openly in his 'music' that he does not date or mess with black women. That's ok with you? Make it make sense?"

Another fan quizzed her choice of selection, saying, "why him? I thought you are better. Out of all the people in the industry, why him?"

"Why do we keep letting him have a damn career. Chloe, you could do so much better than this," a puzzled fan commented.

A fifth fan penned, "really disappointed that you're working with him."

Chris Brown Puts His Critics On Blast In Lengthy Rant

Following the outrage from Bailey's fans, Brown took to his Instagram to air his thoughts and blast them for criticizing him.

On his IG stories, Brown wrote, "IF Y'ALL STILL HATE ME FOR A MISTAKE I MADE AS A 17Year old, please kiss my entire a**."

He continued, "I'M F**KING 33! I'M SO TIRED OF Y'ALL RUNNING WIT THIS NARRATIVE... YOU WEIRD A** N***** ARE THE SAME ONES THAT TUNE IN EVERY WEEK TO SEE BLUEFACE AND CHRISEAN BEAT THE F**K OUT EACH OTHER IN FRONT [OF] THE WORLD."

Brown took his case further by singling out white singers and actors and asking why the "cancel culture" doesn't give them attention as they give him.

He wrote, "Where are the cancel culture with these white artist [sic] that date underage women, BEAT THE F**K OUT THEIR WIVES, GIVING B***CHES AIDS... OH, That's right, they are your buddies."

Brown pushed it even further by sharing photos of white celebrities who have been accused of domestic abuse in the past. Actors like Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Mel Gibson, Emma Roberts, Carmen Electra, Nicolas Cage, Steven Segal, and Charlie Sheen were name-dropped along with their abuse allegations. He also called out singers Tommy Lee, Ozzy Osbourne, and Slash from Guns N' Roses.

Chloe Bailey Reflects On Completing Her First Album

The "Grown-ish" actress reflected on finally completing her debut album and the joy that has filled her heart.

During her performance on the "NBA on TNT American Express Road Show," Bailey performed her new song "Pray it Away" for the first time and paused between the show to disclose how happy she was about the upcoming project.

"So, I have some really exciting news," she shared. "I just turned in my first debut album two days ago. It was the best Valentine's Day gift to myself because when I was writing this album, I was dealing with too many… And I'm like, 'You know what, girl? You deserve better than that."

She continued, per Revolt, "And instead of trying to get back at them, I'mma just let karma do its thing. I'mma pray it away."

The "Surprise" singer could be seen performing in a custom-made latex top with the inscription of her album "In Pieces" on it.
