Given the numerous optimistic responses, it is safe to say that many are eager to watch the "Juice" singer do her thing on the sitcom. However, fans better pay close attention while watching the season 34 finale as Lizzo would be voicing not one but two characters.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that the Apple Music Award winner would also be playing the role of a tiny green elf. Premiering in May, the season finale titled "Homer's Adventure Through the Windshield Glass" follows the sitcom's main lead, Homer Simpson, flying through the windshield of his car during an accident.

The show's executive producer Tim Long explained that Lizzo would be playing the "happy little elf doll" that came to life to serve as Homer's spirit guide after the collision. Despite the 34-year-old's constant use of the word "b***h," her character became friends with the main lead.

Additionally, the multi-hyphenate star's flute would also make an appearance. Long revealed that the songstress performed with Lisa at the end of the episode. However, the producer did not give any spoilers but assured fans it would be a banger.

The two-year renewal for "The Simpsons" would take the sitcom into its 35th and 36th seasons, thus making the comedy show the longest-running scripted series in television history. Meanwhile, "Family Guy" would be entering its 22nd and 23rd seasons with the renewal.

On the other hand, "Bob's Burgers" seems relatively young compared to the other shows, as it would be moving into its 14th and 15th seasons following the renewal. Thanks to the contract, the three shows shall continue airing from 2024 to 2025.

Regarding the broadcasting extension, FOX Entertainment President of Scripted programming, Michael Thorn, noted that the renewal proved the "power" of their network's animation genre. It also celebrated FOX's longtime partnership with 20th Television.
