Emily Simpson took aim at her “Real Housewives of Orange County” co-star, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, during an interview on Access Hollywood‘s “Housewives Nightcap” last week.
After butting heads with Braunwyn throughout the 15th season, Emily was asked if she agreed with a recent post shared by their cast mate, Elizabeth Vargas, who had slammed the mother of seven as a narcissist on Instagram earlier this month.
“Absolutely, 100 percent,” Emily replied. “I mean, Braunwyn’s hypocrisy is mind-boggling to me. I could write an entire paper on it.”
Emily Simpson Believes Braunwyn Windham-Burke Is Self-Absorbed
Elizabeth had shared a post slamming Braunwyn for her narcissism after learning she had said she would be heartbroken if her husband, Sean Burke, fell in love with someone else, despite the fact that she is currently in a relationship with a woman named Kris.
“And the narcissism and the self-absorbed… The ego, it’s unreal to me. At the reunion, we talk about this a little bit. It’s interesting. You’ll have to see the reunion because a lot of this comes up,” Emily explained.
Braunwyn went public with girlfriend Kris in December after revealing she is a lesbian who’s never been attracted to men.
Emily Simpson Thinks Braunwyn Windham-Burke Is Keeping Sean Burke Around To Pay Her Bills
Emily went on to say that it was “absolutely not” fair for Braunwyn to suggest that Sean shouldn’t move on, even though she already has.
“She wants to have a girlfriend, have her girlfriend come over, go on dates with her girlfriend, have paparazzi photos taken of her girlfriend, which, I will tell you, I live in Orange County. There are not paparazzi on the beaches in Orange County. And then to tell Sean, or to be upset if he does. I mean, she wants Sean to pay the bills and to keep her lifestyle the same,” Emily alleged.
Emily Simpson Claims Braunwyn Windham-Burke Is Using Husband Sean
“I mean, let’s be honest. That’s why you don’t want to get divorced. That’s why you don’t want to move forward,” Emily continued, citing Braunwyn’s decision to stay married and also date other people.
“If you got divorced, you’d have to take care of your kids 50 percent of the time and she doesn’t want to do that either. So of course… I mean, I would want to be married to Sean. I’ll fly all over, hang out with all the other Housewives and not have any responsibility,” Emily joked.
Emily Simpson Knows Husband Shane Would Never Tolerate Such Madness
“Unfortunately, my husband would tell me to hit the road if I wanted to do that. So she’s lucky she’s married to a Sean because I don’t think there’s another man on the planet who would put up with that sh*t for one second,” Emily added of her thoughts about her cast mate.
