'Poker Face' Gets Early Season 2 Renewal

The mystery-of-the-week series is still in the midst of its 10-episode first season. The show stars Natasha Lyonne ("American Pie," "Russian Doll") as Charlie, a person with a keen ability to tell when people are lying. After hitting the road in her Plymouth Barracuda, she encounters a new cast of characters at every stop, encountering strange crimes she can't help but solve.

The series is created and executive produced by Rian Johnson. It marks Johnson and producing partner Ram Bergman's first television show. Star Lyonne also executive produces the show under her Animal Pictures production banner. Lyonne also serves as co-writer and director of Episode 108 for the first season, 'The Orpheus Syndrome." Johnson directed the first two episodes of Season 1.
