Ryan Reynolds remains a hero of cinema and a comedic genius. The 44-year-old “Pokémon: Detective Pikachu” actor has been making headlines for his genius commercials for brands like “Aviation Gin”, “Mint Mobile”, and even dating sites like “Match.com”, though long-time Marvel fans might consider those videos paling in comparison to his latest movie project, “Deadpool 3”.
The “Turbo” voice actor shared an announcement made on Instagram via IGN that the next installment of the hit R-rated live-action movies is already being created! It goes without saying that the fans are going head over heels at the news!
'First Order Of Business'
Ryan shared possibly one of the best captions as part of this post which he actually played on in his latest Instagram Story!
“First order of business: Find the guy who killed Bambi’s mom. #Deadpool3” (Ryan)
Hilariously, (and somewhat morbidly) he posted a picture of Bambi and his mother together in the very next picture… so yeah, it would seem Deadpool is dead serious when it comes to seeking justice for forest dwelling, animated Disney mammals.
Though it’s the fan’s responses that take the cake!
The Fans Like It!
Here are just a few of the numerous comments that fans left, and it perfectly demonstrates how Ryan’s humor continues to inspire!
“What will Celine Dion be singing for the intro this time?” (Commentator) “The world is better with your sick head in it” (Commentator) “Deadpool Kills The Disney Universe” (Commentator) “IM TOUCHING MYSELF TONIGHT” (Commentator) “Finally bc Marvel should realize by now that PARENTS should be able to keep their children from seeing R-rated content and not cave when child throws a fit” (Commentator)
'Rated R' For Ryan
In iconic fashion, the boss of Marvel Studios,Kevin Feige, shared how the announcement doesn’t actually mark the creation or production of the movie since they have yet to finalize a script. He shared that Ryan won’t even be filming the movie this year since he is “busy”.
"It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan's overseeing a script right now... It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor," Kevin said.
'Full Disclosure'
Ryan humorously shared on his Twitter that he did in fact show his children some Marvel movies… but he lied about which movies they were.
“Full disclosure: I showed them Spider-Man 1 & 2 and told them it was Deadpool 1 & 2," he tweeted.
Although a white lie is still a lie, the mere thought seeing Ryan’s daughters watching Spider Man and thinking their father was the web-slinging super hero is hilarious!
All eyes rest on Marvel and Ryan to find out how this new movie will play out and when it will be officially released.
