Jeremy Renner has shared an update about his recovery process.
Nearly two months after his near-fatal snow-related accident, the actor proved to fans that he is in excellent spirits on his road to recovery, even playfully teasing them with his new Disney+ series, “Rennervations.” Renner has been slowly healing since he suffered blunt force trauma after getting run over by a massive snow plow outside his Lake Tahoe home at the beginning of the year.
Jeremy Renner Teases Fans In His Latest Instagram Update About His Recovery
Known as one of the original stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Renner had elicited concern from his millions of fans after news of him getting run over by a snow plow weighing about 14,330 pounds broke in January.
While that concern has remained high, the “Mayor of Kingstown” star has made it a point to routinely share recovery updates, often thanking his fanbase for their support. In his latest update, Renner took to Instagram to drop a behind-the-scenes picture of him and his team working on an old city bus for “Rennervations.”
He wrote in the caption that he and his team were “cueing up now @disney and @disneyplus to launch this amazing new show.” The 52-year-old then thanked his followers for their patience, jokingly adding, “while I am in the shop now, working on me.”

Along with giving it almost 76k+ likes — and counting, his supporters took to the comments to share their anticipation for the upcoming series and the need for him to slow down.
One person wrote, “Can’t wait to see it. However, take your time as you heal to regain your strength and health,” and another commented, “We’re all rooting for you! Keep the positive vibes and know you’ve got millions pulling for you.”
“We are so excited for the new show more exciting for you being in your way to a complete recovery,” a third fan noted, while a fourth chimed, “Working on you is most important! Virtual hugs!”
A fifth person admitted, “That kind of repair work takes time that is out of your hands. Give yourself grace and peace and take the time you need.” Meanwhile a sixth fan was curious to know how Renner’s physical therapy sessions were going.
Fans would recall that The Blast relayed that the “Hawkeye” actor had begun taking the sessions after he uploaded a snapshot to his Instagram Story earlier this month. In the pic, the once-divorced star showed the resistance bands, amongst other equipment, sitting atop a cushion in his home.
He wrote, “Physical therapy Sunday 🙏,” across the image, which also included a table and a carpet. Before that update, Renner had posted a picture of a physical therapist engaging him in leg exercises as he laid on a hospital bed placed in his home.
“Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love ❤️,” he began beneath the image.
He then shared his gratitude for the numerous messages he had received from everyone, concluding, “these 30-plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all.”

Several fans and fellow MCU stars commented on the update, with his “Avengers” co-star Chris Hemsworth declaring, “You’re a champion mate! We love you.”
The Academy Award Nominee Is Excited To Premiere His Upcoming Series On Disney
Although “Rennervations” was first announced last year, Renner only began teasing his fans about it this month. Per The Blast, the father-of-one uploaded a photo showing him and three other people— two men and a woman — staring at a board while engaging in conversation, along with the caption:
“We are so very excited to share the #rennervations show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon!!! As soon as I’m back on my feet, we are coming to YOU , all across the globe… I hope you’re ready !!!”
Even though fans noted their enthusiasm for the upcoming series, they were more concerned about his recovery, asking him not to hurry to get back on his feet.
Despite their reservations about his health, fans would be glad to know that Renner’s show is “an original four-part series” focused on his dedication and “lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.”
He would be sitting in the executive producer’s chair alongside Romilda De Luca, Rory Millikin, Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, Dane Lillegard, and Patrick Costello for the series.
