Despite a stay at home order in their Los Angeles home, TikTok superstar Charli and sister Dixie D’Amelio are under fire again, for what some fans are calling inconsiderate selfishness.

Is Charli Preaching Water and Drinking Wine?
TikTok influencer Charli D’Amelio is facing social media backlash, days after she urged fans to stay at home, calling those that chose to spend time with friends inconsiderate. The message, directed to teens that make up a large percentage of her 100 million-plus TikTok followers, asked them not to be selfish, by putting others at risk of pain and hurt.
It wasn’t a few days later that a TikTok watchdog account named the TikTok Room began posting videos and pictures of Charli, her sister Dixie, her sister’s boyfriend Noah Beck among others on a Bahama holiday.
Fans Didn’t Like It
The group also included Anthony Reeves, Bryant Eslava, Avani Gregg, and Madi Monroe, whose mask less selfie on a private jet en route to the holiday also sparked criticism.
Fans took to Twitter, voicing their concerns about the pictures, which were tagged with locations suggesting they were taken at the Atlantis resort, Bahamas.
‘I really can't understand how influencers like Charli, Dixie, Madi, Avani, Noah, etc decide it's a great idea to go to the Bahamas while we're in the middle of a pandemic...like c'mon people are dying every day’ one critic said. 'I'm a bit disappointed ngl. They're supposed to be good role models.'
Private Jet and Cabanas Justification
At the time of the Bahamas trip, LA, home to Charli and her D’Amelio clan, was experiencing the worst days of the pandemic. Hospitals were running out of oxygen, and ICU beds, and an average of one in five Los Angelinos were testing positive for covid-19.
It was only later that Beck, Dixie's boyfriend retorted to a media outlet that in the business they're in, one needed to take some time off to disconnect. Furthermore, the aspiring actor with over 23.5 million TikTok followers added, the group took a private jet, so it was only them.

Addressing the backlash regarding the trip in which the famous TikTokers indulged, Noah beck summarized that 'it is what it is.' He said the whole adventure only included the group, who flew in a private plane and stayed at a secluded cabana.
Charli, her sister, Noah, and the others were careful about whom they came in contact with, but as a whole, the trip was a ton of fun.
Only a couple of times did the TikTok influencers go near the water park area at the resort. The entire hotel was only at 20% capacity, and so these forays into the more public areas were rather lonely since there was barely anyone around.
