Chris Tucker has a profound bromance relationship with Michael Jackson that a lot of people loved and envied. Although, they had different career paths, Tucker always found a way to introduce his dancing skills that was similar to that of Jackson's. 

The brothers from another mother became very close after Tucker's career hit its mark, and he often spent time in the dancer's Neverland mansion.

'Rush Hour 2' Was A Massive Success

Usually, when a sequel for a movie from the 80s or 90s gets released, fans have no idea what to expect, and in the real sense they expect less from such a movie. To them, every amazing trick they could watch has been scripted in the first film. 

But alas! “Rush Hour 2" was one of the biggest movies in the year it was released. The sequel detailed the life of two mismatched detectives (Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker) who took it on themselves to bring an end to a crime lord. 

The movie had a gross profit of over $300 million which was three times more than its budget of $90 million.

Chris Tucker Mimicked Jackson's Dance Style In 'Rush Hour 2'

In one of the scenes in the film, Tucker and Chan made their way to a bar that had a karaoke going on and the song of the night was “Don't Stop Till You Get Enough.”

Tucker who was turned up by the legendary hit song made his way to the dance floor to show off his moves. These moves were supposed to be a replica of Jackson's signature dance style, but he chipped in his personal version.

Chris Tucker & Michael Jackson Were Truly Close

“This is Michael Jackson, what's up Mike? I just wanna call you and tell you I seen your movie Rush Hour 2 and you're kicking the wrong leg. Stop making me look bad,” Jackson said. 

The Pop legend was no doubt impressed with the actor's dance steps, he just needed him to kick with the right leg, and he would have been the Jackson 2.0. 

The timeline of Tucker and Jackson's friendship is unknown but before the singer's death, they were quite close and often visited one another. Till date, Tucker remembers his friend in personal tributes on social media.

Michael Jackson was a decorated singer and performer who touched the world with his music in ways that no one would ever forget. Although his career was short-lived, he managed to etch his name in the sand of times, making him an unforgettable legend. 

Jackson was a lover of people and music and wherever he went, he brought that charisma along with him.

He was also an award-winning singer with over 19 Grammy Awards, four People's Choice Awards, 23 American Music Awards and many more. The singer suffered a cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, after his personal physician gave him drugs to help him sleep.
