Marc Anthony & Nadia Ferreira celebrated Valentine's day with a special surprise!
Anthony and Ferreira announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their first child together, just a few weeks after they hosted a slew of celebrity guests at their wedding. While this would be the first child for the fashion model, it would be the famed singer's seventh, having welcomed his other six children during previous relationships and marriages.

Although Anthony — real name Marco Muñiz — is a multi-awarded artist, he has another role he plays pretty well, which would be that of dad. So far, he shares six kids with previous partners: twins — Emme and Max — with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez; sons — Cristian and Ryan — with ex-wife Dayanara Torres; and a daughter — Ariana — and a son — Chase — with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado.
The 54-year-old is gearing up to play the role again as he and Ferreire, his fourth wife, shared the exciting news of their pregnancy with fans on Valentine's Day. In a joint statement shared with their combined 15 million followers, the couple uploaded an Instagram pic of Anthony resting a tattooed hand on his wife's growing bump.
In response, the Paraguayan beauty placed her own hand on top of her beau's, highlighting her massive diamond engagement ring and red-painted nails. Ferreira wrote, "Best Valentine's Gift Ever!!! Gracias Dios por esta bendición tan grande en nuestras vidas," roughly translating to "Thank you God for this great blessing in our lives," in the caption.
As one can expect when such news hits the internet, fans swooped into the comment section to congratulate the lovebirds. "I'm dying of LOVE and emotion what a beautiful news ??CONGRATULATIONS I LOVE YOU," one fan gushed while another added, "All the blessing in the world for your family."
A third person wrote, "Congratulations to both of you, enjoy this beautiful stage," and a fourth chimed, "Auntie's beautiful baby." Meanwhile, a fifth fan focused on the future, penning, "If it's a girl, Miss Universe 2045 will be ours."
Anthony and Ferreira have remained in news headlines since they walked down the aisle last month. According to Vogue, they held a high-class ceremony to cement their love story, which began after a mutual friend introduced them at a Maestro Cares Foundation event.
After solidifying their relationship on social media in March 2022, the couple became engaged in May before tying the knot on January 28. The ceremony was attended by Salma Hayek, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lin-Manuel Miranda and showed the bride wearing two custom outfits for her big day. Speaking on the dresses, Ferreira stated:
"They were made especially for me by the wonderful Galia Lahav. I loved, loved, loved my dresses. When we had our first meeting, we discussed what I envision for the special day, and they presented me with the most beautiful sketches that came to life in the most glorious way."
For her first look, the former Miss Universe Paraguay queen wore a Hunter gown with a sheer corset bodice and floral embroidery that flowed down the accompanying voluminous embellished skirt and train.
Her second look, which was just as stunning as the first, featured Ferreira in a strapless beaded dress with a high-low silhouette and a feathered and beaded train. The runway queen ensured that her guests enjoyed Paraguayan cuisine in honor of her heritage before partying with Angelo Pagán and his band, DJ Cassidy, and DJ Xtreme.
Ferreira's Career As A Fashion Model & Pageant Star Has Brought Her Multiple Success
PEOPLE observed that even though Ferreira had gotten recognition through her modeling career and pageantry wins, announcing her engagement to Anthony really blew her up.
The 23-year-old began participating in pageantry in 2015 when she competed in — and won — Miss Teen Paraguay on Guaira's behalf. Soon after, she represented her homeland at Miss Teen Universe 2015, earning the third runner-up spot.
She was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay in August 2021, going on to represent Paraguay at the Miss Universe competition, held in Israel later that year. Ferreira elevated her country's placement history in the pageant, landing at the first-runner-up position behind winner Harnaaz Sandhu.
As a fashion model, the expectant mom became an internet sensation after walking for designer Custo Barcelona at the 2018 New York Fashion Week. Since then, Ferreira has worked for numerous top designers, including Tommy Hilfiger and Balmain.
She has also graced fashion magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, and Robb Report Singapore.
