Kim Kardashian Reveals Why She Loves Tattoo Filters, And Her Reason Might Shock You
Unlike her siblings, the KKW Beauty founder is tat-free. The 42-year-old adores her banging figure to the point where any permanent engravings are a no-no. Despite her initial stance against body inks, the California heartthrob's attitude may change.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum recently discovered a phone filter that covers one's body in numerous colorful tattoos. Since finding the digital masterpiece, the mother-of-four is enjoying causing a stir with fake inked photos on her Instagram Stories.
Her sudden love for body art made fans wonder if the entrepreneur wished to get a tattoo or missed her inked ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. The heated debate about her filter usage finally reached the TV personality's ears, and she addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories.
The voluptuous goddess shared a video of herself rocking a figure-hugging bodysuit, presumably from her shapewear brand. The "Disaster Movie" actress zipped down the garment, giving fans a great view of her perky assets.
For the clip, Kardashian activated the tattoo filter causing her exposed arms, neck, chest, and face parts to be covered in numerous colorful inks. With her signature heart-melting smile, the beauty mogul cleared up the misunderstanding about her tattoo interests.
"Every time I post this filter, you guys have to go somewhere else with it," the billionaire began, dramatically waving her manicured hands around as she stifled her laughter. "I just like what I look like," the California native continued before laughing with the person behind the camera.
The 42-year-old's voice turned sultry as she zipped up the bodysuit. "I think it's so cute, right?" the reality TV star asked while fluttering her eyelashes at viewers. If anyone remained unconvinced by her stance against tattoos, Kardashian reaffirmed her decision in the next slide.
The People's Choice Award winner reposted a video of her viral 2009 interview with Wendy Williams. The clip was initially shared by her half-sister's fan account, Kyliesbae, and captured the savage queen in her prime.
In the footage, the talk show host asked if the "Dash Dolls" star had any tattoos on her body, to which the media personality disagreed before dropping the iconic line, "honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?"
The body art discussion occurred during the interview, in which the socialite appeared with her sister Khloé Kardashian. As seen in the episode, the "Kocktails with Khloé" star inspired the conversation after opening up about the meaning behind the multiple tattoos on her body, one of which was dedicated to her ex-husband Lamar Odom.
After the exchange between Williams and Kim, the 42-year-old tried to reduce the damage of her words. The shapewear entrepreneur noted that one would put bumper stickers on a Ferrari and described Khloé as a luxury sports car.
Why The CFDA Winner Does Not Have Any Tattoos
As for why the KKW Beauty founder has no inkings on her skin, reports share that there are a plethora of reasons.
Some exciting theories include the 42-year-old's fear of pain. After watching her sister remove a tattoo from her lower back in 2015, the media personality presumably did not want to endure the same treatment.
Additionally, the Glamour Award winner has psoriasis, a skin disease that causes the inflammation of one's skin leading to an itchy rash or scaly patches. Kardashian previously revealed the condition affected her face and other body parts.
Given her medical issue, the "Kardashian Konfidential" co-author may avoid tattoos to prevent worsening her psoriasis. A third possibility may be the constant change in the reality TV star's life. Perhaps, she does not wish to engrave permanent symbols on her body that may no longer hold the same significance they once did.
