Bethenny Frankelis weighing in on Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance- and she thinks Rihanna's performance may have been 'all about the Benjamins!'
The "Real Housewives of New York" alumna has made a name for herself in recent years on social media, where she often shares her thoughts about current pop culture happenings.
Frankel, 52, made headlines last year alongside reality star Spencer Pratt when the duo discussed "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow on TikTok; Frankel reportedly had a tricky encounter with Kudrow when she'd been a guest on Frankel's talk show, "Bethenny."
Rihanna is the latest celeb to be the subject of the former 'Housewife's social media musings! Like many of us, Frankel took to social media to share her thoughts on Sunday night's Superbowl Halftime Show performance featuring the "Love On The Brain" singer at the helm.
Rihanna's performance will surely become one of 2023's most memorable moments in popular culture; Rihanna stunned fans by wordlessly taking the stage while wearing a tight red jumpsuit which revealed the singer's growing baby bump! After a bit of social media speculation, her team would later confirm that she is indeed pregnant with her second child!

The Bravo and social media star seemed to not be thinking about RiRi's baby bump.
In an Instagram post shared on Monday, Frankel shared her thoughts on Rihanna's performance. The 'Bravolebrity's assessment was... lukewarm.
Frankel centered her outlook on Rihanna's business dealings, specifically her extremely popular and lucrative FENTY makeup brand.
"So much talk about the Rihanna appearance," Frankel told the camera, prefacing her thoughts with the disclosure she had previously seen Rihanna perform live "years ago" around the same time when she had seen Pink perform. Frankel goes on to share she thought Pink's performance had been superior, and that Rihanna had been "much less inspired as a performer..."
Frankel then goes on to discuss her thoughts on Rihanna's level of "passion" through the performance, reasoning her pregnancy may have been a big influence.
"But Rihanna was also touching up her face with her makeup," Frankel continued in the video, which she also posted on her TikTok. "and her whole entire makeup brand flew and paid for all of these influencers to go to the Super Bowl, and they had their own Super Bowl," she goes on to say.
Twitter users had brought up a possible Fenty Beauty performance incorporation following the announcement Rihanna would be headling the Halftime Show. According to W, Rihanna has reportedly been christened 'The Avon Lady' in recent years by irate fans who would like to see RiRi release a new record. Her last album, "ANTI," was released in 2016.
"So it feels like part of her deal was probably to get all of these influencers taken care of," Frankel continued. "The Super Bowl doesn't pay people, doesn't pay talent, and it costs a lot of money to do it, and Rihanna's big moneymaker in her life and career is Fenty. So, she's touching herself up during the performance, she's bringing the influencers there, they're gonna do hundreds of millions of dollars in sales as a result over that trip, so I think the Super Bowl overall was a win for Rihanna, whether her performance was amazing or not, she won the Super Bowl," Frankel concluded.

Fans took to the comment section of both Frankel's TikTok and Instagram reel to share their thoughts.
"She was doing business," a fan commented on the TikTok with a shrugging emoji. "and it was still entertaining," to which Frankel responded "Right."
"She was beautiful, but that show was a total snoozefest. No guests, no energy. Yawn..." a viewer weighed in.
"Saw 3 different influencers on TT [TikTok] at the Fenty party/concert. Spot on, she made bank at the Super Bowl," another TikTok user wrote.
"The RiRi show was less than inspired," another TikTok user commented. "I was really looking forward to it and was disappointed."
"I literally got a text from Sephora right before she went on for new Fenton [sic] beauty. It was football-themed," a viewer shared.
"all of the songs she sang have re-entered the Billboard charts, so she did something right," another TikTok viewer shared.
Over on Frankel's Instagram reel, a fan commented, "Good for her but I thought it wasn't on a Super Bowl level of entertainment."
"Can we stop comparing and just be happy for her," one of Frankel's followers asked. "Let her have a moment. She isn't anyone else but herself so comparing her to Pink is just a messy vibe. Celebrate her for who she is."
"Everyone in these comments needs to find something better to do," another follower weighed in.
Rihanna was reportedly inspired by Beyoncé's 2013 and 2016 Halftime performances!
