Dr. Dre Pays Ex-Wife $2 MILLION While He Recovers From Aneurysm

Dr. Dre has just agreed to pay his wife $2 Million in support while he recovers from a brain aneurysm.
According to legal documents, the legendary rapper and his estranged wife, Nicole Young, have agreed she should be given the money to pay for living expenses for the next few months.
The couple's divorce was just heard in an L.A. courtroom with each side being represented by their respective lawyers, and the hearing was continued to allow Dre to recover from his medical condition.

According to the agreement, Nicole will be advanced the $2 Million by this Monday and will be responsible to cover all of her living expenses including her Malibu home.
The agreement, struck by lawyers Samantha Spector and Laura Wasser, says Nicole and Dre agree she will be responsible to pay her own security fees for the next few months until the parties are back in court. The judge continued the divorce hearing until April. Of course, at that time she can ask for reimbursement of expenses and negotiate a final number.
As you know, Dr. Dre and his ex-wife have been fighting over spousal support and financial issues in court and were supposed to argue today in court. Instead, the rapper is currently recovering from a brain aneurysm, and no orders were made on support or fees.

As we reported, the temporary agreement comes on the heels of the couple fighting over the amount of support to be paid to Nicole following the couple's split.
Dr. Dre's ex-wife is asking the court to allow her to continue "maintaining the status quo" of their lifestyle, which she says was living expenses pushing $2.3 Million a month. According to Nicole's accountant, the couple spent over $245 Million in the past three years, and after the split should both be able to continue living a similar lifestyle.

The couple has been fighting over what amount would be proper to split, so they can end their ongoing divorce. Although Dre claims his net worth is much lower than you think, Nicole believes he underreporting his income by running money through various other companies.
