Amy Robach's Friends Feel She's Trying 'To Convince Herself' Of T.J. Holmes Love Story

Amy Robach may not be as drunk in love as she appears.

Her friends aren’t convinced she believes her relationship with T.J. Holmes will go the distance or be her happily ever after.

According to a new report, Robach’s friends feel she gave up her career for a love that is not meant to last.

Her friends reportedly believe, “she’s painting a picture of how happy in love they are.”

However, she may have some regrets about carrying on her affair and ultimately losing her job at “GMA 3” and “20/20.”

Robach “is still saying this is it… [they’re] the real deal, but it’s starting to feel maybe more like — instead of [her] being a firm believer [of their love], now it’s more like she’s trying to convince herself that’s the case,” a source revealed to Page Six.

Her crew is worried and “are really trying to get through to her in a way… maybe it’s starting to work a little bit, but she truly feels like they’re in love.”

On the contrary, a different source revealed the couple is “in love” and they are “best friends.”

“They’re two consenting adults who ended up loving each other. They were both going through their own hell [in difficult marriages]. They’ve been there for each other,” the insider previously said.

Robach and Holmes’ relationship grew over the course of co-hosting “GMA3” together and training for multiple marathons.

Their affair was made public in late November 2022 and they were taken off the air in early December.

After weeks of discussions, an internal investigation and several headline making paparazzi moments, Holmes and Robach were given the boot from ABC.

Since their departure, the couple have continued to make headlines.

Holmes was recently spotted ring shopping for his lady love.

NO… not a diamond ring.

Rather, he was shopping for a “promise ring.” The disgraced TV host purchased a $650 David Yurman ring for Robach’s 50th birthday.

She was spotted wearing the gift on a $350 Tiffany gold chain around her neck.

He reportedly gave her it to wear as a necklace until her divorce from Andrew Shue is finalized.

In addition to the promise ring, Robach recently purchased herself a 2.3-million-dollar NYC penthouse apartment.

According to The U.S. Sun, the penthouse pad boasts two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms with a private terrace. It’s located in downtown Manhattan.

Per The Sun, it also includes an ensuite bathroom to the primary bedroom with a stand-alone soaking tub and a separate shower with rain heads for a spa-like experience.

The kitchen features granite countertops and all stainless appliances including a dishwasher and a wine fridge.

This apartment is her first since selling her West Village home which she shared with Shue. They sold it for $5.2 million.
