D’Andra Simmons appeared on a recent episode of Celebrity Page TV and during her chat with the host, she spoke about Dr. Tiffany Moon’s addition to the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast.
Hours before the premiere, viewers of the hit Bravo series are learning D’Andra’s thoughts on the new cast member, who was added to the show last year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Tiffany is brilliant and she’s funny. She brings a completely different point of view to the show, which we needed. It was a refreshing point of view,” D’Andra explained.
D’Andra Simmons Experienced Tensions With Her Mom Dee During Filming
Throughout the past several years of “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” fans have watched as D’Andra and her mom, Dee Simmons, have battled over business and, according to D’Andra latest interview, not much changed during filming on season five.
While fans will have to wait and see what took place between them, D’Andra confirmed tensions arose.
“We coasted along so well for a while. We didn’t discuss business and then we had a little hiccup, as per usual, but it was kind of a big hiccup. You will see,” she teased.
D’Andra Simmons Talks COVID-19 Challenges
Also during production on season five, D’Andra and her cast mates were forced to deal with the challenges presented to production in regard to the way in which they were able to film amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“We have a different cast and a completely different look on life, like everyone, because of the pandemic. We could not go to public events or do anything,” she explained, noting that the lack of group events led her and the cast to question their relationships.
D’Andra Simmons Claims ‘RHOD’ Season Five Will Be ‘Surprising’
“What are our demons and what are the thing we need to work on in our lives? What are the relationship struggles we have?” D’Andra recalled of what she and her “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast mates were forced to ask themselves during filming.
“And then you put a camera in that person’s face and oh my God, it’s going to be a really surprising and exciting season,” she explained.
In her own interview with Celebrity Page TV, Tiffany said she is both honored and scared to be the franchise’s first Asian cast member.

”I am incredibly honored to be representing for the Asians but at the same time, I’m very scared,” Tiffany admitted to the host.
She then spoke of her fears.
“I know some Auntie out there is going to be like, ‘Oh babe, she said this. I’m so embarrassed.’ I do hope that overall, I make them proud,” she shared.
