Olivia Wilde Gets Instagram Hate For Allegedly Dating Harry Styles

2021's first doozy news is out, and according to various media reports, actress and director Olivia Wilde and singer Harry Styles may just be the next hottest couple in town. 

New love usually sets media abuzz, especially if it's between two rather hot celebs, but all is not well on social media because people cannot believe that Harry Styles is again dating someone much older, again that is. 

Plus, not many like that Olivia Wilde moved onto another love this fast, considering the news of her split from Jason Sudeikis leaked only in the late 2020s. 

Olivia Wilde got involved with Jason Sudeikis in 2011, and he proposed to her in 2012. The couple also shares two children, son Otis Alexander, and daughter Daisy Josephine. After seven years of being engaged, early 2020 brought about a split although the news only broke at end of 2020. 

The end was amicable, reportedly, and the duo has worked out an excellent co-parenting strategy, something that was on the top of their mind. 

While Sudeikis hasn't been dating anyone, or we haven't heard of it, it seems Wilde has found a new man. 

Olivia Wilde, 36, and the 26-year-old One Direction singer Harry styles may not run in the same circle, but it's their profession that brought them together.

Wilde is making her second movie, this one called "Don't Worry Darling", starring Florence Pugh as a housewife who has discovered dark secrets. Styles will play her husband. After the critically acclaimed "Booksmart", Wilde's next is generating plenty of excitement in her fans. 

And while she may be in the first flush of love, her profession is as exciting to her as ever.

Finally, let's come to the crux of the matter. This weekend, Harry Styles' agent got married and the Styles attended the wedding in a rather sharp suit, holding hands with a Bohemian-dressed Olivia Wilde. 

Of course, being Styles, the shirt he had on was a ruffled marvel. Before he was spotted holding hands with Wilde by Page Six, Harry Styles had been involved with model Camille Row but the couple split in 2018. 

That said, it's not as if social media is very happy about the couple being together with the older Wilde getting most of the backlash.

Hate flooded Olivia Wilde's Instagram the moment this news was out, for being older, for being previously and even for being a mother — and daring to date Harry Styles post all this. 

Many even accused her of exploiting Harry, forcing one of her fans to come to her defense and write, "Where’s the treat people with kindness? Leave her alone. She has done nothing. I’m so sorry for all the hate oh my god".

Another was even more vociferous, "After I saw the article I came to this comment section and JEEZ? as a fandom we can’t preach TPWK and then leave horrible comments? Leave the poor woman alone"...

The "poor woman", meanwhile, does not give a rat's a**...
