Emma Stone is reportedly pregnant and loving married life if media reports are to be believed. Since the Oscar-winning actress is notoriously private about her personal life, it may be a while before we actually get to hear a confirmation from her.
In fact, the actress is not even on social media and is visible to the press mostly at professional events and functions, sticking to answering only what she feels is necessary for the public to know about her.
But the baby bump has been spotted, so here’s the scoop…
Dating, Marriage, And Now...
Emma Stone started dating Dave McCary, an American comedian, writer, and director sometime in 2017, in fact People reported the news in September 2017. Their engagement was announced in December 2019 by McCary on his Instagram account.
In September 2020, People Magazine confirmed the couple was now married through an official source after they had been spotted on a walk wearing matching wedding rings. Clearly, the media has to prod Emma Stone to give them any news about her personal life.
Who Is Dave McCary?
Emma Stone's husband is 35-year-old Dave McCary and was the segment director of SNL from 2013 to 2019. During his college days, he formed a sketch comedy group called "Good Neighbor" along with Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Nick Rutherford.
The duo met when Emma Stone hosted SNL way back in 2016 and McCary directed her for one funny skit, "Wells For Boys", playing below.
Later, McCary's directorial venture, "Brigsby Bear" came out and the couple was spotted leaving its premiere as well.
Stone Is A Consummate Professional
Emma Stone may be a nice girl if her interviews are anything to go by, but she can lie to anyone's face and call herself "single", which she did in a Rolling Stone interview in 2019 while dating her husband-to-be.
For her, the lines are clear, there is Emma Stone the actress, willing to talk about movies and everything else, and there is Emma Stone (technically, Emily Jean Stone) the person, who eschews the limelight and is more than happy to be labeled a homebody!
A Momma To Be?
According to E! News, "Emma is pregnant and just loves married life" and now, just recently, she was spotted walking with a friend, cradling a rather large baby bump.
This shows that Emma is beyond the early stages of pregnancy and 2021 may see her being a mommy pretty soon. Not that she or her husband Dave McCary have officially confirmed or denied the rumors.
Either way, it is happy news for the pretty actress and her husband, especially since the end of the pandemic is also in sight!
