Christy Carlson Romano knows her Disney Channel era had a dash of magic that is hard to replicate, but she is setting out to do her best!

Romano, 34, was a Disney Channel staple during the early aughts. She rose to fame playing the bookish sister Ren Stephens, to the brattiness of Shia LeBeouf's Louis on "Even Stephens" and supplied the voice of a generation's favorite female superhero Kim Possible on the show of the same name!

Romano's era of the Disney Channel made stars out of Hilary Duff ("Lizzie McGuire") and Raven Symone of "That's So Raven" fame, and like her notable contemporaries, Romano has no trouble with or qualms about revisiting her past.

Romano Believes There Is A Specific Reason Why Listeners Keep Returning To Older Disney Channel Shows

Romano, who has also featured many of her Disney Channel peers in her YouTube content, has an idea as to why her Disney Channel days are still so appealing some 20-odd years later! The special 'ingredient' that her era possesses also serves as inspiration behind PodCo.

"It's actually truly the model of old Hollywood synergy," Romano continues to People, "It's something that I think another thing about nostalgia is that when we think about Disney Channel or even Nickelodeon back in the quote unquote 'golden era,' everyone hopped on everyone's TV shows. Everyone did a DCOM [Disney Channel Original Movie] together. There was a synergy that Disney, in general, had it as one of their mission statements that we were told about," she goes on to detail, "that it comes from the top down. So we're really just promoting that idea of synergy  with PodCo," she explains.

Romano ended their interview with the outlet by promising listeners that PodCo is headed for greatness!

"There's a lot of big things in the work," she promises. "The team is growing rapidly!"

Podco will feature Romano's "Even Stevens" rewatch podcast, Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide"s new rewatch podcast- the series' actress, Lindsey Shaw, was recently a guest on Romano's "Vulnerable,"- and a "Wizards Of Waverly Place" rewatch podcast that is also in progress. And yes, Selena Gomez will appear in a future episode, according to the outlet!
