Prince Harry's Alleged Former Fling Claims He 'Traded Down' With Meghan Markle

Prince Harry's alleged former lover, Sasha Walpole, recently said the father of two was no longer the boy she remembered and claimed he had traded down from her with his marriage to Meghan Markle. The digger driver's current fame is a result of Harry's recently released memoir Spare.

In his memoir, the Royal recalled his first sexual encounter, mentioning that it involved a woman who had a relationship with horses. Walpole, a digger driver who previously worked on Gloucestershire estate, Highgrove as a groom, recently stepped up to identify herself as his virginity taker.

Walpole joined English broadcaster Piers Morgan in a recent interview on his show "Uncensored." There the host asked her about a number of things, including her feelings toward Markle. He said the two women seemed to have several things in common, claiming that Harry had "gone from a digger to a gold digger!"

Walpole, who laughed along to Morgan's comment, mentioned that she and Markle referred to the Royal as "H." When asked if Harry seemed happy to her, the digger driver said, "He's not the boy I remember, that's for sure."

"But again, I'm not in his shoes; I have no idea what's going on in his head; I haven't seen him for 21 years," Walpole continued. She also claimed that by her standards, Harry had "definitely" traded down from her with his recent choice of companion.

Still talking to Morgan, Walpole admitted that she decided to disclose her identity because of the amount of speculation caused by Harry's memoir. The Royal wrote about an older woman with a relationship with horses and how she took his virginity. He claimed that Walpole treated him "not unlike a young stallion" after the sexual encounter and "smacked my rump and sent me off to graze."

Walpole claimed that had she not come out as the mentioned woman, chances were that speculations over the father of two's mystery lover would not end. "People are asking, family and friends," the digger driver said. "We know who it is, and then suddenly it's just a reality of 'This isn't going to go away.'"

She further said that until the public knew for sure who it was, they would continue questioning people. "And yes, I could not have said anything, but then it's never going to stop," Walpole continued. "He could have given me the heads up that, you know, 'I'm going to put it in the book.'"

Talking to the Daily Mail earlier this week, Walpole admitted that after their sexual encounter in the field, she and Harry never spoke to each other again. According to the digger driver, she and Harry became friends during her time as a groom in the Gloucestershire estate, Highgrove. On the night of the incident in July 2001, she invited the 16-year-old Harry to her 19th birthday party.

Walpole held the party at The Vine Tree pub located in the Wiltshire village of Norton. At the time, she had just gotten dumped by an ex-boyfriend, and in the young Duke's attempt to cheer her up, they ended up having sex on a field.

"We didn't set out to do it – it wasn't premeditated, and I didn't know he was a virgin," Walpole explained. "There were no virgin vibes – he seemed to know what he was doing. It was quick, wild, exciting. We were both drunk. It wouldn't have happened if we weren't."

After they were done, Walpole returned to the pub, and Harry stayed in a phone box until his security detail found him.

Walpole also talked about Harry's comment in Spare, calling their encounter a "quick ride" and saying that after "she'd smacked my rump and sent me off to graze'." She revealed that Harry's description of the whole thing as "inglorious" was funny to her and fit the situation.

"I don't mind him saying that because it isn't really very glorious, is it? We were drunk and having sex in a field," the digger driver said. "It's his sense of humour. [We were part of] a massive horse scene and the slap happened in a horsey context; the book is a funny interpretation of that."

She continued, "His description is accurate – the real shock when I saw what he'd written was how true it was. That's what took me back the most. I'm not offended." Walpole also confirmed that she had smacked Harry on his bottom after they finished having sex.

"Afterwards, I did grab his bum and give him a slap. I gave him a little squeeze as well. He had a peachy bum. I don't know about the stallion thing; I think that was more to do with the fact that I worked with horses," Walpole revealed.
