Meghan King Edmonds Talks Relationship With Jim Edmonds' Girlfriend Kortnie O'Connor

Meghan King Edmonds doesn't have a relationship with her ex-husband Jim Edmonds' girlfriend, Kortnie O'Connor, but she would like to. 

During an interview with Us Weeklymagazine on January 4, the mother of three offered an update on her co-parenting efforts for daughter Aspen, 4, and twins Hayes and Hart, 2.

"I'm pretty sure they do [get along with Kortnie] because they talk about her," Meghan explained of her children's relationship with their potential stepmother, adding that she "wish[es]" she was closer to Kortnie.

According to the former "Real Housewives of Orange County" cast member, she believes it would be great for her and Jim's kids if she and Kortnie had a relationship with one another.

"I think it would be best for the kids," Meghan shared. "I've been a stepmom, I know that the way that I approached that role is the children will always love their mother the most and the best, no matter what. My kids can only be enriched by the love of as many people as possible."

"I fully support any woman, or person in general, in their life who loves my children and treats them [as] their own," she continued.

Over a year after their messy split in October 2019, Meghan said she and Jim don't mix their time with their kids. Instead, she explained, they enjoy the children on their own time.

As fans may know, Meghan was married to Jim from 2014 to 2019 and during that time, she acted as stepmom to his older children, including Sutton and Landon, who he shares with second wife Allison Jayne Raski.

At this time last year, Meghan told Us Weekly magazine that she hoped the New Year would bring more positivity to her co-parenting relationship with Jim.

"I think the New Year especially, and the new decade, is a great way to kind of launch positive thinking and the law of attraction," she stated. "I don't know. New beginnings are huge."

Unfortunately, weeks later, Meghan accused Jim of striking up a romance with a woman the two of them once had a threesome with.

Looking back at her split holidays with Aspen, Hayes, and Hart, Meghan, who appeared on the 10th, 11th, and 12th seasons of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," admitting that spending certain days without her kids was "really depressing."

"It was just sad. Then I got my kids and everything was great, but overall, the holidays are tough," Meghan explained of her custody struggles.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 15 is currently airing on Bravo on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
